I can’t believe it’s taken this long for the real Chicago story to come out -house and hip hop, through clashing and later, integration, laid the foundation. Not one or the other. I was there. I saw it unfold.

Exactly! They are trying to do the same for hip hop as well and they released the documentary microphone check to debunk it. Those white Latinos then sabotage the film and added temporarily removed out of movie theaters and off of Amazon because they wanted to sell a false theory of a co-creation for hip hop. I suggest you check out the microphone check documentary

Hip hop consists of b boys , and graffiti artists also , in nyc a good portion were Latinos from the jump since hiphop was an alternative to the deadly gang culture.
