Never realized it but the moment he is flying through the air and showing the crowd his underside is a bit symbolic for how he doesnt cheat and got nothing to hide - opposite to a few others in this race.

I remember hearing that people didn't like this movie And that it did bad in the box office but compared to the absolute atrocious mass produced slop we have now this thing is a masterpiece. And there was no pandering or agenda. Like for real What we have now is so bad that the bar is laying on the ground and yet these movie studios show up with a shovel.
