We need an update, hows the spotlock?

Kept forgetting to video the spotlock. Depends on the wind. In a 4 mph wind, it'll stay in about an 8' area. Does great with just a small current and no wind. Worth every penny!

I'm caught between this one and the motorguide xi3gps , is this still working good for you? Also when did they start putting the anchor button on the remote? the pics on their website don't show that!

Hey just a couple of thoughts for you. The biggest thing is, if you are going to field strip the pistol weekly, the best thing you can do to ensure proper functioning is to apply lube. In particular, to the barrel and where the barrel hood/chamber area locks up with the slide. As well, throw a couple of drops into the FCU where needed. That being said, doing this on a weekly basis is pretty overkill, unless the pistol has been exposed to an excessive amount of sweat or rain - belly button lint should not cause a malfunction. Last thing - be mindful of repeatedly re-chambering the same round(s). Doing so will eventually cause the bullet to setback into the casing and/or kill the primer. After chambering a round ~3 times, it probably needs to go into the training ammo pile. Mark the cartridge with a sharpie every time it is chambered. Hope this helps.

I absolutely love it! I took it out this past Saturday but forgot my camera. Was a windy day, 13 - 20 mph winds and it did GREAT in the 13 mph wind but when the wind kicked up to around 20 mph it would drift about 6 feet before getting back on spot. Was really impressed! When the wind was down to less than 10 mph or so, it stayed right on spot. It was also much quieter than I expected from other videos. I think Haswing made some changes in the gear/motor that makes it run really quietly. I may order the foot control in the future.

Thanks for your content. Aside from the slide oil are you just dry wiping? Is your wipe rag coated with anything? Do you solvent clean & oil after firing? Best wishes.....

Thank you for your question! My wipe rag is dry. I only oil where there are moving parts that are not susceptible to open air, dirt and dust. After firing I do use a solvent and then a dry rag. I found over the years that oiling areas that don't necessarily need it seem to attract and hold more dirt. Have a great day!
