I absolutely loved working with this officer. She’s kind, understanding, caring, and an all around amazing person. She goes by the rules. And if you’re one of those non compliant drunks too her, resisting, refusing a blood draw, screaming, yelling, then the arresting DWI suspect starts to be kind til the blood draw starts to almost happen then she goes ballistic on us. So instead of doing a forced draw this officer calms her down and explains what will happen if she doesn’t do a blood draw! Which is a suspension of your license for a yr depending if you have any other DWI’s. It could be more. But her voice was direct, stern yet not loud or mean. The suspect understood and chose not to do the blood draw and risk the suspension. Officer Ryan gave me my first PSPD patch for my medical bag. What an amazing career you have and your past. Such an amazing, beautiful soul.

An elected official said, in uniform, that he will not honor the judicial system he swore to uphold. And the media decides the story is “people disagree.” I do not think the media is up to the challenge of covering what’s happening to our system.

I remember when the Cloverleaf water park was being built in the 1980s. My friends and I would often stay at Sam's Family Spa and from there ride our dirt bikes into the desert. On one such ride we stumbled upon the construction site, and were able to ride up to the fence on the backside of the property, on top of a hill, and look down on the facilities. After it had closed, we once again rode out to the site and were able to get to that same spot and look over what remained of the water park. Some good memories! Thank you for posting this video...

Some channels have very strict guidelines and so where it says stick to the topic , now , I have to wonder if that's why so many innocuous comments people have made are being removed all over KZbin ... ? Sometimes somebody will say that a loved one of theirs passed away recently or that they had some kind of tragedy or a health problem ... and a lot of us will give either our condolences or words of encouragement . I think that strict rule might explain why a lot of our replies to such people have vanished when everything we said was innocent and kind ... ? So far that is the only thing that explains it

Yes some years ago I remember reading that story about what happened and it was really heartbreaking because they obviously were very very close and what I recall reading was that he was in some place and Mia Farrow grabbed him and made him dance with her ... this was right after she got her divorce . And that Frank Sinatra just turned on the poor guy ... terrible ... how cold . Frank Sinatra was known to have a terrible temper at times ... there are stories about it ... some of them are famous people . It's a shame he couldn't have stopped himself or at least shortly after that , apologized to the gentleman instead of taking such extreme measures . He broke the poor man's heart .

I've always dreamed of using the over 200 foot below sea level position to be a source of potential energy. A canal or pipeline from the Gulf side could bring salt water up through Laguna Salida to the Salton sea. This cleaner salt water could be used to generate power using the last hundred feet of drop and then spread into covered shallow evaporation ponds to create fresh water. Other ponds could be left open to create rain and counter sea level rise. This will also cool the area. One pond and pipe system could be used just for getting power from the tidal flow. Finally something has to be done about the pollution in the Salton sea. You could add clean salt water and hope it flushes out but it really needs an enema. Create a lined trench connecting filtration ponds with gravel bar and water hyacinth biofilters. Hopefully after three or four ponds it'll be clean enough to reuse or make a separate lake. Then fill up the Salton sea with clean saltwater. I'd love to get the water from out by Catalina where it's blue and clean but that's a trip over mountains. Years from now when we have a National water management plan we can control our rivers flooding and use the freshwater to flush out the saltwater. We could have a huge inland freshwater sea.

it's not impossible to reduce the issue - fist step is to reduce the dust by growing hemp, use this hemp to build buildings. this will help pull a lot of pollution, act as wind break and help cool the ground. saving water by direct watering. cleaning the water before it's is drained into sea... removing the pollution be washing the soil - using this waste as carbon block... yes it can be done

It's a big stinking mess. You could drain it and mine the lithium but then you would have to clean the toxins out of it before you pump the water back into the ocean. Or you could pump sea water into it an fill it back up. The dumbest idea is to use fresh water to fill any part of it. No matter what it's going to be very expensive and will take massive funding from the federal government.

Ocean or polluted salt pond water can compete with lithium, oil, natural gas, hydro electricity or solar wind energy. The @EirexTech is 5 year old Canadian company that utilized prehistoric cavitation technology releasing highly competitive hydrogen from any type of water including waste plastic saturated with ocean water for cheap synthetic fuels. The effort to restore the Salton Sea, Laguna Salada and Death Valley with endless sources of ocean water will increase monsoonal moisture and rainfall for Colorado Basin. The old fashioned salt water desalination or electrolysis of water for hydrogen generation can't be compared to cavitation by Eirex Tech in Canada.
@leroyessel201015 күн бұрын
To learn more about Cavitation google search Pistol Shrimp that snaps it's claws to crack very hard clam shells without touching the shell with invisible cavitation bubbles. The Eirex Tech cracks any type of water molecule with powerful man made bubbles. The KZbin video by Prof. Marc Ramsey, Vanderbilt University titled "Energetic Cavitation Collapse" demonstrate the unlimited overunity energy potential of cavitation that dares to disrupt old science conclusions that many worship as religous cult members.

How stupid is this. Criminals don't buy guns where you have to use an ffl or pay taxes. Why can't they just admit that most of the crime is done by inner city minorities? Nothing to do with gun violence, it's more money to blow while continuing the march on gun confiscation.

@ElleryOmur19 күн бұрын
There's talk about building a canal from the Guld of California to the Laguna Salada, in Mexico, and then from there into the Salton Sea. Another option is to build a berm around the middle of the Salton Sea, causing runoff to flood the shoreline of the Salton Sea, while allowing the middle of the Salton Sea to evaporate. This would provide a bird habitat encircling the Salton Sea, due to less salt, due to more fresh water, while the center of the Salton Sea would become highly dense in salt.

You have to be kidding me ??? Do you realize how large the body of water is out there ? The pollution ! This is not like there was one gas station there and once removed, the ground below it was excavated and removed to a Toxic Waste Site Dump . Wake Up !What is the logic. Don’t get me wrong , it was once a Beautiful Place , but now a Toxic water Dump . Sorry
