Wow Reverend Wesley. I loved him and Sister Wesley. I remember when he baptised me in 1972 i was 6 yrs old. He gave all the kids JellyBeans after Sunday School. This really brought great memories. This was one of my favorite albums. I loved hearing Hedi Jean sing

That should be William J.Hopper not Cooper. My Father was Booking Manager for this Group for a few years. These guys still get together from time to time. Bennie Strickland died August 24, 2022 . Matthew passed several years ago.

I remember seeing Mattie Wood who was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church Suffolk, Va. I remember seeing Jimmy Butts and Margaret Harris lived down the street near Battery and Linden Avenue in the Saratoga section of Suffolk, Va. Thank God for this online memorial to all of them.

Listen...that Guitar is PLAYING! I love the album mix because you can hear EVERYTHING. They did an awesome job mixing this because they could have been lazy and just dumped the video mix onto the album and we would have been FINE, but they actually took time to re-mix for the album and they did their thing with it too!!!

From Rochester, NY , parents from Andrews and Lake City SC. We went down every summer to visit Grandparents. One Sunday listening to gospel, gone my last mile came on. Took it back to Rochester and song it at 13 years old, while playing the bass. Love The Gerald Sisters. Wish I had an update on The Gerald Sisters.

My uncle used to sing with them and apparently played this album all the time. 😂 My granny was a member of the church First Union! It's amazing where memory lane will take you and what you'll discover on the way!❤ I remember Donell Hickman and Leroy Henderson...Henry Davis. Must have been the father...not sure, but it's so cool to learn the connections!

I will never forget this song from my childhood. My mother raised all of us on gospel music! She could play piano very beautifully by ear from five years old. I will have to learn all the words to this song so I can sing it to myself!
