At 33:50time in the video, you explain how to assign coordinates to a connector in Creo Cabling. I tried applying this technique during a tool test for a company but faced challenges when working with MCB/MMCB components in a panel box. Despite practicing extensively and being able to route connectors and wires in similar setups, I couldn't route even a single network or wire for the panel box during the test. I suspect the issue might be related to the software version or specific configurations used for that panel box. Your explanation has been helpful in general, but I'd appreciate any tips on handling such situations or specific advice for routing MCB/MMCB networks. Thank you!
@CAD-Masters25 күн бұрын
Yes I can guide you. Was there coordinate, point, axis any on mcb device. So that you can route the network on coordinate, point, axis. If entry port will not there on mcb then you could also give the coordinate on that connector. For routing network we we can route network on coordinate, point, axis so if coordinate was not on connector then you could aslo give coordinate for routing network.
@CAD-Masters25 күн бұрын
One more thing that if we know the wire 2 end from and to. Means wire connection points if we know then we can assign the entry port(coordinate) on both the ends. And route the network.
@शिवाy25 күн бұрын
@CAD_Master1 Yes I tried to give coordinates on round edge of entry portion so that we got z axis out side but that not able hapeen by selecting and open mcb in new folder We will download again and see if it is able do it at home now or not thanks
@CAD-Masters25 күн бұрын
Yes you can try at home also . But you required to download mcb 3d model

@CAD-MastersАй бұрын
In this case we have to check weather connectors are designated or not then in cabling parameter check entry port coordinate must be true then location on connector must be non editable. Try thee case's then let me know if still problem is there.

These getting these cases u have to watch each and every latest video where I tried to cover different unique topics

If i chose flat harness the options available are flat harness_abs & flat harness_rel .. which one i need to chose
@CAD-MastersАй бұрын
In Creo Parametric, when dealing with flat harness representations, the distinction between flat_harness_abs and flat_harness_rel lies in how the coordinates for the flat harness layout are defined and stored: 1. flat_harness_abs (Absolute Coordinates) The flat harness layout is stored using absolute coordinates based on the assembly's global coordinate system. All points and geometries in the flat harness retain their position relative to the origin of the global coordinate system of the assembly. If the assembly or part is moved or rotated, the flat harness will remain fixed in its original orientation because it is tied to absolute positions. 2. flat_harness_rel (Relative Coordinates) The flat harness layout is stored using relative coordinates based on the harness assembly’s local coordinate system. All points and geometries in the flat harness retain their position relative to the specific harness component or assembly. If the assembly or part is moved or rotated, the flat harness moves along with it since it is tied to the relative positions of the harness within its local coordinate system. When to Use Each Use flat_harness_abs when the flat harness needs to stay in a fixed position, regardless of assembly movements. Use flat_harness_rel when the flat harness layout should adapt to the position or orientation changes of the harness assembly. These options provide flexibility in managing and documenting harness layouts depending on the design requirements. Concussion: You can use abs for fixing purpose.
