I left Costco cheesecake in the freezer for six months, are they still good to eat? Or should I trash it?
@countrysparkles24 күн бұрын
I think it is fine being in the freezer that long, it might have freezer burn on the outside depending on how you stored it but that will just change the taste it won't hurt you. If you are saying could you still put it in the freeze dyer yes I would at least.

What a nightmare! Wouldn’t you know. My glass looked horrible and I really hate it. I went to take the springs off. Wouldn’t you know there is always one screw that won’t budge. I tried WD40. I tried the Blaster! Nothing. So I gave up. I was able to pry it up enough to get a paint stick with a cloth in between to somewhat clean it. At least it’s better than before. But it seems I have more holes than screws. The black spacers on both sides of the door. I only have one screw for each side. Is that right? I have the diagram but they are awful pictures when it came to details. You by far had the best video of two days of watching about how to fix my stove. Thank you for that. ❤
@countrysparklesАй бұрын
One screw per back side of the handle sounds right, but where you said you have more holes than screws, that is questionable 😂

So I have the same oven. I have been looking everywhere to find out how to clean the front inside glass. There are two pieces that are screwed in that metal cover. I think the only way to clean those glass windows is to remove the hinges like you did. I was actually afraid to touch those screws to release the springs because they look so tight. I was thinking they would come apart and somehow be a danger. Do you ever clean between this glass?Mine looks awful. I had a flame coming from the bottom of the oven and scared the heck out of me. Haven’t used it since. Thought I should do a clean, although my oven doesn’t seem to be that dirt. I was also trying to get to find a picture of what the screws look like that are holding those dark strips along side the springs. It’s almost impossible looking them up on line. Does your oven make a popping sound when starting and also when cooking? Thanks for the video.
@shericreatesАй бұрын
My door has two glass windows that are all attached with the metal frame. There is no way to separate them u less you remove the springs, which I am not going to do. Then there is another glass piece that I see in your video and then the front frame that holds all together. It’s in pieces on my kitchen island. I give up trying to clean the double pain window because those springs look evil. I’m just hoping the pieces will go together nicely. I used duct tape but it didn’t hold and the handle fell off anyway. Wish me luck

Oil is different than good. Milk jugs are hdpe. And hope is the most common material for all long term water storage. And is 100% fine to use milk jugs for water storage. The oils may be decomposing them. But they are not biodegradable. They do Photodegrade so make sure they are not exposed to UV radiation. And can be harder to sanitize. I have water in some milk jugs 9+ years. Used some a few months go when we had the need and water was good.

How could I remove that adhesive part for the spray handle if I wanted to reinstall it on the opposite side?
@countrysparkles2 ай бұрын
Hmmm so you are saying that you already have it stuck to the wall right? I haven't tried to remove it but I would try to carefully pry it off the tile first if you get it off but then order some double sided sticky tape to re stick it and then use goo gone to get the rest of the other sticky stuff off. If you can't pry it off I would try goo gone all around it to in stick it.

Looks are so important in the enjoyment of a meal. Great Job. I am subscribing to your channel. One of the best dehydrating YT if have seen. Wrong you compared two ways to dehydrate and then compared both to Store bought dehydrated. You come off as a home cook with high end kitchen tools in a upper middle class home. yet your class was every bit what I would expect from a school of food preservation. OUT STANDING JOB!

My next step would be to add a bit of baby oatmeal to it. I have done that to fruit puree and that has made nice solid baby food bites. But they dissolve slower so I wouldn't give it as a first food.

Thanks for your video! I have a gap between the glass and door. Any tips on how I can fix it?
@PeqSeg-fq7cx3 ай бұрын
Or maybe an idea why it happened?
@countrysparkles3 ай бұрын
So for me when it gets a gap between the glass and the outside of the door it is because the tabs on the bottom have bent out a bit so they aren't at a good 90* angle any more. And I just bend those back so they are in the right position, I showed that in this video @5 min in. It happens to me when I do a quick clean not taking the whole door off just opening up the front to clean it a few times.

Great video! Quick tip. You'll need to remove the oven door, which is quite simple on this model. Takes about the same amount of time to remove a kitchen drawer. Once you have the door off, you'll remove the (4) screws at the bottom of the door and the (2) screws that hold the handle at the top. Remove the cover and clean the inner glass panels. If you don't do it this way, the tabs at the bottom of the metal exterior door cover will bend, causing the lower section of the cover that is supposed to meet against the glass to bulge out.

Thanks, yep I have a video on how to do it this way too 🙂
