I was privileged the other day to hear this song, and others from this period of Eno's music, performed live by a group of talented musicians under the name of "Music for Enophiles," You can find videos of them on KZbin.

With that one what it is is this… with the other ones it wasn’t so similar but actually with this one it was quite like the first. We knew that but we're very much considering the likelihood of finding it chimed with all of our original ideas. I bought the book and became quite engaged with the detail - much to my surprise! I recalled cycling down the road across to the high rise building - what a view! - and spent far too long in the rather Grand pub off the high road. Saw the whole gang there frequently… fantastic times - oh yes

the crickets. that's what i was looking for
@philoupaulo6 жыл бұрын
I always thought it was a recording of crickets but in fact it is the magic sound of the famous EMS VCS 3 ! ENO is great in mastering this incredible synt. You can experiment the wonderful app IVCS3 and try to reproduce sounds like this but this synt his hard to tame ! The real VCS3 is very rare and very very expensive often near to 10000 € !

@tommabry41669 жыл бұрын
That era would have, more likely, been 220g. The labels of those records usually had some distinction though. I suspect he's an audiophile and he returns a record to it's sleeve, cover, and proper placement before a new record is pulled out.

Good thing she is sponsored, otherwise she wouldn't be able to afford 4 CDJs--not that she needs all 4 to play guetta and a soft fade in.
