I can understand why Solomon acted this way. He probably knew dark magic would be needed to fix ann. But as auror he was against that. Plus he's probably already seen the if just do this this one time it's fine when it comes to using dark magic and see Sébastien is on that path. He did him a kindness by not reporting him for that imperio but controlling the undead and having a dark arts artifact was a step to far for him

This scene is so sad because Ellie was immune and Riley was killed so she didn’t kill Ellie and she didn’t know she was immune😢

I was a gryffindor student and when I noticed that I have to fight Solomon, I was like ‘do I have to? I don’t want to. I wanted to reason with him.’ But I have to fight him anyways. I get that he somewhat wanted to help his family, but he was out of control. Even Sebastian was out of control too when he was trying to help Anne. I felt bad for the Sallow family. I was shocked to see Sebastian killing his uncle and I was like ‘Sebastian, what have you done?!’ Such sad scene really. Something that is hopeful is all for nothing. Even in the wizarding world.

I love Sebastian's character, but it would honestly have been hilarious if the game allowed you to manipulate him into teaching it to you, and then to try it out, the first person you test your new spell on his him, right there and then. 🤣 Terrible, but hilarious!

I felt like Solomon was as obsessed giving up on the girl as Sebastian was finding the cure. Honestly, after he without a thought destroyed a chance for the girl to return to normal life... Sebastian did nothing wrong, you won't concince me otherwise

Hogwarts deals with the dangers of the Unforgivables in an interesting way. Crucio: Cast it or never leave the dungeon alive. Totally justified. Imperio: You can leave the dungeon without casting it, but Sebastian's use of it was also justified. He saved his sister's life, and ... we were killing the goblins anyway. Avada Kadavra: This one's an interesting one. Sebastian certainly goes too far, but on the other hand Solomon wasn't holding back either. The guy was using lethal spells at two school students. Whilst the PC is begging him to stop, he's trying to summon columns of fire beneath our feet. To that end, the PC is forced to also use lethal intent towards him as a simple matter of survival. The message was probably intended to be 'dark-magic bad', but most of the game does a pretty good job of justifying it.
