I appreciate you being honest about the wait time on these things. It's important to point out they're not a pre-order item as claimed. They've already been sent in mass to distributers, and the 90-day express delivery is a completely fraudulent claim. To this day, the average wait time is about 7 months. People are better off buying from Aliexpress. They may pay a little more, but they'll get their item in about 2 weeks.

How not to assemble the device. How about reading the instructions first.
@CodySmiley25 күн бұрын
I was about to order too, I even wrote with support who assured me that delivery was 3 months max. I later found on reddit that this is a lie and the real delivery time is over a year for the black colour. I decided not to play the game where they cheat me at the start. So I bought a used MacBook 12 inch as a terminal.

I've ordered one, then after a month I didn't receive anything and discovered after contacting the support about that. Some products are marked as not available in the shop, so I supposed that available products were ready for shipment... I was wrong 😩 Let's see if they will keep the word with me. One year is a scam
@Outcaste15326 күн бұрын
I bought one and have to say it was some of the best customer service I have ever gotten. Had a issue which was me not the device and they helped me through it. One thing to note if you don't buy the kit with the CM4 you will not get a SD card with there image on it. Not hard to download and make your own if you know how, just a step you will have to do after building it.

Why did you not clip the board in? I mean the thermal chunk should provide enough pressure to hold it in place, but why not do it properly?

Looks cool but I'm not seeing the practicality of it. It doesn't make me think "omgggg I need that right now" The only use I could see getting out of it is sshing to other servers to manage them but I can already do that from my phone

well I did this in the beginning of the COVID.. I don't remember.. in the GitHub link I referenced the original robot that we used to made it, and it has a list of parts that maybe help you. In our version I did the improvement of the reduction of the electronics only using one main board, not two main boars like original version. In theory is more cheaper. Also please note that we put a note about the servos in the our Thingiverse post, about that is better use a metal servos: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4644707 I think that it is not the best quad robot design and maybe is more stable with six legs.. but we enjoyed a lot made it, and was good to learn a lot of things in the process.
@unfunnyman76Ай бұрын
@@hpsaturnOoo okay, yeah I think 6 legs is more stable but your robot is unique I like it 👍
