Hi Ryan, thank you so much for this video. As I was following the tutorial, I realized 2 things. Either I'm starting to think like a React / Next JS / Typescript developer, or I was able to see where you were going before the fact. Maybe both. I have to ask, is there a way to do this without the use of useEffect? Realistic speaking, even with a dependency array in a useEffect statement we still hit an api endpoint twice. Why this matters is when using real api's, it can count as 2 hits to an api endpoint which can count against rate limiting.

So basically in you're videos, from what I've seen, you're trying to learn python and teach it and get credit for it while you use someone else's learning platform to teach yourself. I mean you didn't even explain which was the key and which was the value in the car dictionary example. You just said "Close it in some curly brackets, and you can make a bunch of cars."....come on buddy.

Ty for the helpful vid. It was really interesting. But can I ask what plugin do you use that shows you what the response returns in advance (when you were typing the console.log(response) it showed up right next to it)

You're the man! Ive been at this for some years, and I have to say your style of teaching and transference of your depth of knowledge in layman's terms is quite refreshing in this space. I've spent countless hours scrubbing through tutorial videos, and you are by far one of the best I've stumbled on thus far. Watched all the way through out of pure enjoyment. Definitely earned a sub. Keep up the great content! Looking forward to more! About the coins that don't have a contract address... Layer 1 native currencies (coins) don't have a contract address, because they're not a token. The wrapped, tokenized versions of them do, however. But Coingeko and other sites for listings don't really make that distinction clear, which has led to quite a lot of user confusion on this topic. Take for example Ether (ETH), the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum network, does not have a contract address in the traditional sense. This is because Ether is not a token that’s governed by a smart contract, but rather it is the intrinsic currency of the Ethereum network. However, when Ether is used within smart contracts, it often interacts with contract addresses. For example, when you send Ether to a smart contract, you’re interacting with the contract’s address. When Ether is wrapped or tokenized (like Wrapped Ether, WETH), it does have a contract address because WETH is an ERC-20 token and follows the ERC-20 standard. This allows it to interact more easily with other ERC-20 tokens in the Ethereum ecosystem. So, while Ether itself does not have a contract address, many operations involving Ether on the Ethereum network will involve interacting with contract addresses, including tokens.

I'm confused. When looking at the documentation, it mentions using a _app.tsx. You don't have that file anywhere. Is it just optional, or what's going on?
@captainryanpags4 ай бұрын
The new version of Next.JS deprecated this _app.tsx file, your mail file will now be app.tsx or index.tsx in the app dir if you’re using the app dir!!

God has a plan and timing is everything. Even though this has broke you down, it is only to build you back up for what's to come: professionally, financially & spiritually. I think the dating world needs to be re-introduced to "what it means to build a relationship" in a fun enriched way that instills & amplifies family values. Versus the demoralizing dating stereotypes we're exposed to. For example, pre-conditions for 1st date: pay your own bill, quick coffee date (30mins), and platform provides 3 shares questions to ask & build from that promote strength in the relationship process that are important to each of you. Dating is hard enough. It's time we 1950's it again!

You should really check out foundry, it's really good and fast and allows you to text and deploy smart contracts all in solidity. That provides nice separation of concerns and no context switching between solidity and JS done by hardhat. With Foundry, everything smart contracts (building, testing, deploying) is done in Solidity

Wow. Had to double take at the number of views/subs. The quality of this video is right up there with the tutorials that get millions of views. I mean, maybe those creators are more experienced with video bells and whistles. But the coding instruction quality of your video is truly top notch and right on par with the most popular guys imo. I listened to this in my car and still learned a ton without any visuals.
