Better check the house foundation. The wood could fail.

Some people seem to be concerned about your neighbors. You should be worried about your ear drums. You're going to be deaf by 50.

At the lowest note it moves at about full stroke, but for the higher notes it could play louder.

If that’s a north ridge E series self powered amp and sub you need to take the board out of the back and do a little surgery or have some one do it cause there is a very dangerous flaw on the board that will eventually even at normal use and volumes will burn up not just the amp but board as well as possibly your house it’s that serious. Don’t get me wrong I loved my jbl subs but have all so been a victim of this engendering flaw in there board design. To many amps across not enough bus system as well as wrong limiting circuitry or other integrated feedback safety components like thermistors on the choke and output capacitors where one of the flaws exist and the other is resistor Capacitor values on some of the power supply side are off and allows way to much current to run with the cut off way to high so for sure do not lower the speaker load or it will cause damage way faster but like I said if it is a north-ridge e series 10 or 12 they both have the same design flaws

Thanks for your concern. My amp has been burned up for a few years now, so I am actually powering it externally. I still have the original board mounted on the back to seal up the box though.
