Silly money . Cabo’s no longer a good investment My Villa on 7 mile beach in the Cayman Islands cost $2.7 million 8000 sq ft . No property taxes. Just 7 months ago , There are cheaper options.

Wow this is certainly not the Norm in Cabo, my home was started in April 22, 2022 and we are praying for mid summer close. Our Budget has tripled from what we were quoted. Many of the trades in MEXICO were not licensed, we had to have our electrical work redone twice. We purchased a Generac generator to backup our solar system, but could not find anyone to0 come out an install it. Cabo Gen never answered the phone. It short if your building, you need to have boots on the ground. Our builder used our money to build another house. We have heard many horror stories, so we are not complaining.

Wow, what an amazing interview. I am retired Boeing Aerospace Management and Sue is over 50 years Labor & Delivery RN with a major healthcare chain. Within the past few months Sue has moved close enough to retirement to start serious research for a permanent residency and second citizenship. What are we looking for in environment? My son is a builder in Maui and lost his second home one row off the beach in the Lahaina fire. But seeing the Maui area before the fire, that is the type of community desired, except outside the USA. We have been researching all over Europe which we loved from our visits before CoVid. Then closer to home in Central and South America. At some point Mexico rose to the top for serious consideration with blazing speed. Within a few days, Cabo came out of nowhere be in a top 5 on our high interest list. Andy and Sara Price's sincerity comes across clearly and touches hearts. Their relaxed delivery was so captivating that it felt more like listening to family than an interview. And for us, being a combined family with 15 young adults, over 40 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, that is not a feel that is easy to duplicate. Cabo is now at the top of the ‘You have to check out this location in person’ list. Thank you for taking the time to film, edit, and post this interview.

I am a Real estate agent in Vallarta, and just got to Cabo to live . I ve never seen any closing cost more than 4% in my transactions. We usually tell the client to be ready with 5% in case of an extra expense, something that we never had reached. But 9 to 10??? where in the world is that?

One thing you mentioned lightly was medical care. Wife & I have been coming to Las Cascades (time share on Medano Beach for over 20 years and absolutely love it) , I have recently become a widower due to end of Cancer remission. We have experience the med system there (as well as a few other countries, Italy, Japan, ) and found Mexico's outstanding. Am aware that in less affluent areas that may be less true. Wife spent 5 days in an ICU and all one can say is the doctors by and large went to USC, medical covered, and would now prefer their med system as ours has become a referral service! When wife was in the ICU her CAT Scan was $78, I had paid here not long before $ 600, We got results back in 45 minutes, for me several days! My thoughts at present 8/17/23 is to cash out here So. Cal.) before the shooting really starts here and before the USA implodes from ignorance. My family has been here in this area since most had tepees. Yes the cape has grown substantially but it is still Cabo!!! See you soon!
