Why in Forza 5, if you raise the front height and lower the rear it gives you a higher top speed?

Thank you for this. Tbh this alone helped me so much im able to compete now. This is the best explanation video ive ever seen. Its not overly analytical. Its very easy to understand and helps everyone. I love how you didnt mslake it over complicated. This helped me so much now I understand every action. I also know what to search for when driving now. Thanks so so much!!

So, what is the purpose of “showing your nose”? Like, going a bit to the inside before a corner, even you know you are not overtaking, and then fall back to the racing line.

One of the best things I've ever done for my iracing career. Was I have up on SR n IR for awhile. In Rookie. I was just done fixating on it. I didn't lay back in the rear and play it safe. I didn't drive like a fool either. I drove as good and as clean as I could. But once I had heat in my tires I raced the best I could. This took me almost 2mos. To hit D class but I'm 2 MPR away from B class now on my 3rd month. Cause I learned how to race instead of driving slow in back.

DONT DEFEND UR POSITION if someone is behind u it meas it is faster than u so let them pass. When u r good and drive for money and u r good u can start defending

I have been watching your videos the past few days on repeat so that your advice sinks in. When I approach a corner, I have a habit of looking at my brake point then looking at my speed while going through the corner. How can I teach myself to quit looking at my speed?

I found ajusting tires/tire pressure helped me a tin when starting out getting that extra time down. So much so in fact I was able to win much more then most in iracing when I started out. Its crazy what such a minor adjustment can do with feeling of grip or cornering speed etc. It worked so well that i didnt experience the whole omg it feels like you are on ice. But i was lucky i found someone else who was doing it and learned from them. Its funny how sometimes I onpy adjust the tires and it still works like a charm.

Scott Id like to see a video foe a complete begginner directing Bahrain. Such as into corner one about the hundred full brake downshifting into 1,2. N show where in exit to begin smoothly accelerating etc, Like what speed we should be hitting like corner ten. Kinda dissecting everything. For f123 or well any game Bahrain. The. Maybe move on to race two of season. Lol I’d u get caught up you could dissect it with the season that’s going on.

YOU MY NUMBERED MENTOUR, are awesome at videos! N N explaining. I need to know about always attempting to run flat out into braking zones like corner one of Bahrain that is a huge breaking zone and into corners 3 or 4 (unsure if this is a chicaine cause it’s pretty open into straight stretch with 2 msg dns. I was a very elite downhill ski racer(other than my focus RS only thing makes me feel free.)as a racer we were always trying to push it to a hundred. Is it ok to push it to 70 percent throttle n carry speed out of a s turn (corner two n three) Also a quick video even a short on BRAKE BIAS IN COMJUNCTION WIRH DIFFERNTIAL(what does low number do n high number N how they relate to each other I find myself increasing bias n lowering diff seemed to make car rotate better. So as car n tires wear down increasing bias decreasing differential seemed to work but I’m in the dark. A track with long straights stretches, less diff N curvy track more diff? All assists off.

Max has low morals and honor which explains his bullying/dirty driving battles and I hate watching it. Someone needs to send him into the barrier in real life a few times to make him second guess his aggressiveness. Otherwise, his hubris will kill somebody on the track.

I've been working on the balance of releasing the brakes smoothly but not too long or too short. I often find myself over thinking and trailing my brakes for too long when I should be accelerating. I feel like the brake roll off should actually be done relatively quick. Smoothly but still quick. Of course it's subjective to different driving styles, cars and corners.

I'm an intermediate motorcycle track day rider and these are exactly the things I'm struggling with most at the race track in real life Ultimately it is for fun but I'm getting an entry level sim setup to hopefully get more off season braking practice without the risk of hurting myself As I push myself to test my limits I end up in the braking too hard too late camp which when I get it right it is fantastic but the failures result in riding off the track (if I feel the front end pushing at too high of a speed I just go off straight and slow down in the grass/sand which has thus far prevented low side crashing but obviously could result in its own crashes if there is nearby traffic or bumps or slick grass, etc.) Not sure how foot braking for a simulated car will translate to hand moto brakes but my go kart driving skills have improved immensely from my progress on the motorbike so I'm sure there will be some cross training action in my brain Any input on if the load cell brakes are worth it for the sake of real life cross training? Is the difference that impactful on skillbuilding? (picking up a Logitech G29 today for PS5 Gran Turismo 7 with PSVR)

Very nice vid. After mastering that you then realize that every corner also have different slope. You lock up quicker when branking downhill, also there is different amount of road grip,... For me the hardest part of simracing.

Some moves seemed like they were legit moves. SOME of them. The other moves shows that Max is a dickhead bully and not worth learning from. For example, 11:50. In that overtake not only does Max bully that overtake with brute force, but he then PUNTS the other driver off circuit. If anyone one of us racing peasants would have done that move, we would more than likely had been reported and probably suspended for a period of time. If anyone would have retaliated by performing the same beyond aggressive move, Max would have gone and cried about it thus us getting banned almost instantly. He's afforded certain benefits based on his name alone. Dude may be a great driver in real life but in Sim world I think he's a shitbag.

In GT7 at least, braking too early, the morons behind you think that’s a sign to pass you and will risk a dangerous pass, either by ramming you, or bumping you out of position.

Even sim racing cost too much if you are disabled and unable to work! I found that no mater what it is, you need lots of MONEY to even get the chance to prove you have natural skills. I thought sim racing would be a way to use my skills but like everything else, it cost too much!

some great tips here ... one of the things that i really need to work on is my vision. I dont look far enough ... i seem to be fixated at looking at the front of the F1 car im driving and not at the incoming corner. really not sure why im doing this because when i drive a real car im looking ahead to see whats happening and whats there... my vision is not fixated on the bonnet of the car i really need to work on looking at the upcoming corner, the exit and whats coming up i suppose the biggest difference here is that im not doing 200km/h into a corner :D also need to work on my trail braking ...
