A thing that a lot of people miss is that overtime the racist character evolves and is MORE racist as time goes on. When you play as Arthur he is talking about “mingling” and “comingling”… but by the time you play as John, he is on the corner flat out saying “I’m a Racist and I want you to be one too”. It’s actually a really smart way of Rockstar saying if you let racist comfortable, they are going to get REALLY COMFORTABLE. What would he be saying if there was DLC

I never beat this game. I only got to the part where John’s wife and son leaves him, but this is honest to god my favorite part of the *whole* game. The way the music kicks in when Arthur steps out with his repeating rifle is just so fucking badass.

So many people I watch play this game always miss this cool dialogue because they just start shooting :(
