If your initial transit time on the ticket is 4 hours, will they extend it until the tour ends? Because you mentioned that they have given you 8 hours, and the tour was only 3 hours long.

Sounds good! Then you’re not limited to being with the tour group all the time and if you want to spend more or less time at a place, you have that flexibility

My layover was short so I did not require a hotel booking. I didn’t need a visa because Qatar is visa-free for South Africans. The Discover Qatar website should have further information

Do we need to pay for any other service except the transit tour package we are interested such as "Discover Doha" in your case? I mean Visa fee, insurance, hotel reservation?

I didn’t have to pay for any other fees as entry is visa-free for South African passport holders. I didn’t have to pay for insurance. I was flying out on the same day so I didn’t have a hotel reservation but I think you could get a hotel if you book the stopover programme on the Qatar Airways website (I could be wrong but worth looking into)

Hello 1. This is covered in the video 2. You can book the tour even if you didn’t book a flight with the airline 3. This information is available on the Discover Qatar website in more detail, however in this case, you have to book your flight with Qatar Airways 4. No (unless you would like to tip the guide)
