@@marsyang9417 I’m sorry I don’t remember, but I know we booked a king room from booking.com. After I booked I requested a balcony if available. When we got there, they said they upgraded us as we were staying for 7 nights.

@@Andrea-li7vz I’m not sure if they will get the update. They do the switch outs during the year, like this one Vacation Jamboree, and the Christmas show, so they may not need an update.

The OLC, a company that runs the parks not disney themselves, will decide if the new retheme is worthy of being in the parks, but if they don't see it as fitting for the parks they will not update the show and keep their own seasonal shows running

@@kstravel8758 there are currently no plans for Tokyo to get what Florida got, and as a result, Liverlips days as a a walk=around character are over because Disney wants *ANY* parl that has the bears as walkaround characters to all have the same ones.

Now that they brought "Vacation" back after 5 years, it will be interesting to see if A: they bring back "Jingle Bell Jamboree" as well in November and B: if the minor editing they have to do (removing "Ladies & Gentlemen" references) is worse than the butchering Florida did to the original show back in 2012. Fun fact for those who don't know, the song Shaker and Delores (the Octopus) sing, was *ORIGINALLY* written for the American version but was replaced by "Two Different Worlds" before programming began on the sshow in January of '86

@@nickhenline1532 I think it was just a simple decision made by the team creating the script for the show, especially since they hadn’t recorded anything of the show before they made the decision

@@SlushysSecret you might not have noticed but Disney is trying to be inclusive with their theme park announcements and other things, thus, *ANYTHING* that had "Ladies and Gentlemen" in it i being edited out or changed altogether

Yes, I had my own GoPro and was allowed to take it on the rides with us. We went May 2021 so hope the rules are still the same.

Review of the Resort: A "Memorable" Disappointment Well, well, where do I begin with my stay at this resort? Let's call it an "experience" - one I'm eager to forget. From the moment you step foot into what claims to be a luxurious haven, you're swiftly transported to what feels more like a cattle farm. Ah yes, the ever-charming wristband - your badge of dishonor. So, if you fancy being an easily identifiable mark for every vendor, potential miscreant, and overly enthusiastic local in Playa del Carmen, this place has you covered! Inside the resort? No escape. It's like being in a relentless sales pitch, but here, the ever-enthusiastic resort staff are the hawkers. Want to relax? Think again. They're always on standby to try and upsell you something. Upgrades, excursions, spa treatments, premium dinners - they're always on the hunt, and you're the prey. Ah, the serenity! But where things truly take a dangerous turn? The so-called "security". For an establishment boasting its exclusivity, the behavior of some guests seemed more fitting for a backstreet bar brawl than a high-end retreat. The open bar? It's more like a ticking time bomb, drawing in unruly twenty and thirty-somethings. With their increasingly aggressive antics and sheer disregard for others' safety, you'd think the resort was auditioning for a reality show on brawls. The "security" team? Oh, they were there, but their indifference and inaction were alarmingly evident. It felt less like a retreat and more like a hazardous obstacle course, where every day brought a new set of challenges to one's personal safety. "Smoke-free", they claimed. Yet the reality was an all-pervasive haze of secondhand smoke, and despite countless complaints, the smoky saga continued unhindered. And don't get me started on the so-called all-inclusive deal. Overpriced restaurants and room service that felt more like a drag than a luxury. At 700-800 euros per night, the returns were pitifully inadequate. Mediocre drinks, a "piña colada" more reminiscent of murky puddle water, and dated rooms that screamed of neglect. My first night? A cacophonous symphony thanks to the ancient air conditioner, forcing an urgent room switch. For a resort that parades itself as 5-star, a hesitant three would be a stretch. The raving reviews and promotional videos? One can't help but question their authenticity and how many palms were greased for those glowing endorsements. In short, if you're seeking luxury and relaxation, this resort is a masterclass in how not to deliver either. Steer clear.

I’m sorry you had a bad time. It was a beautiful resort but I understand what you are saying. It’s an all inclusive resort so some people drink their money’s worth in alcohol. Thankfully while we were there, there was no issue with any guests. We went for a wedding and the resort did an amazing job!

You've been fortunate so far, but you shouldn't leave your health to chance. Being surrounded by people in their 20s and 30s who are entirely inebriated feels like being at a college party without any oversight. This isn't what I anticipated after shelling out 4,800 euros for a week-long stay. There's a glaring lack of control, and I can attest that the quality of the food and drinks was merely average, not commensurate with the amount spent. While it may cater to the masses, at 700 euros a night, I expect both quality and safety! Come on, please tell me, are you truly an unbiased influencer? Did you by any chance try the piña colada? Excuse me, but it looked like brown vomit. How can you say that the experience was worth the price paid? They have 500 rooms and thousands of guests; how can you ensure exclusivity and attention to the customer? This place is like an assembly line, and upon arrival, they even "brand" you with a wristband as if you're cattle... seriously! @@kstravel8758

I learned of this hotel just yesterday and would love to take my family for the experience alone. I cannot believe that I’ve never known of this hotel until this week! It should be hugely successful but there’s a lack of advertising it!
