It appears the line up to shoot the other cabin to lure the 2 guards to the key cabin is lined up via the sniper parallel to the second black line on the door step which also coincides with the right snow bank walkway being parallel also - So as long as youre on this "plane" and "against the locked door - Should have high opportunity for the trick to happen....then its the 2/3 shots over the left cabin (as well as the path leading up to these shots?) to take prior to taking the shots...anyone have any luck on console?

Yeah was just talking about this in Illu's stream for console however not exactly like this - Equipping the sniper to lure out the brown suited key guard and proceed on playing out the level not having GL for ending just to rely on OOA boosts - This strat looks interesting which makes 1:40 look possible especially if you can acquire a grenade prime for the ending locks as well as hit the warp (lost almost 2 seconds here unless on EMU you cant warp in general) - Is there a reason why we wait to shoot the far cabin - Like is that the cap distance where you stop to shoot it 3 times? Would of thought the earlier were able to shoot the proper (3) shots at that cabin with the brown suited key guard that would make him just further along (especially after the pattern youre using for this secondary lure for the locked hut) - Im under the assumption thats the "closest point" for the "sniper distance" to hit the brown suited key guard in the cabin (or his ally in the cabin with him) ? None the less cool strat as like I said I was just linked this video strat from throwing the idea out at Illu however console not sure 'this' specific strat would be possible

you can take the spring from floor 295 to all of the further floors and use it to jump through walls by throwing objects into it and jumping on top of it, this could help somewhere

Yeah I know but I'm probably not gonna return to speedrunning this game because the speedrunning community is dead and I'm focusing on other games now but feel free to submit any runs if you want

Princess peach can hear when you open the doors and if your seen without hiding she will try to catch you, thats why you have to quickly hide in chests without being seen

@@raychellucas6717 No I mean how in this speedrun, he seems to be able to avoid being caught by her even when he's low on stamina and she's right on his tail.

@@Teknanam It's probably contact related. I think that Peach needs to hit Mario to kill him, and since any time Mario is close to her he's either up on the railing or leaping over her, she never makes contact.
