It would be interesting to know which car has won the most nationals titles. The YD71 Micra won class 5 in 98 and then in 2000 and 2001 as Y1. Perhaps Dean Forward's class ten might have won four titles, but Russ will know better than me.

On a quick check I think the most successful nationals car is that of the late Gerald Brace. Gerald won 6 titles back to back from 1982-1987. He then sold the car to Lyn Powell who then won the title in 1988.

Jeff Hogg has won 6 titles with (I think) 3 different cars. He won in 1984,85,86 with his Stiletto. The 1994 with a Seat Ibiza and in 1997 with I think a Ford Fiesta. All were Rover V8 powered but not sure if it was the same engine all the way through.

Always enjoyed your commentary right from the early days when you first began Russ. We always had the little magazine Autograss Review and felt it was a shame when Mr Parish stopped producing it. I think youve definitely found your strength and a gap that needed filling. Loving watching your videos ive just come across on KZbin.
