I’m here to spread gospel to all zoom g5n users, there is a seemingly useless effect called “Exciter” that is your best friend and a must when you’re using an amp model, especially the high gain ones. Newer units like the kemper or the ampero II etc have a noticeably more open and fuller sound while the zoom squashes a lot of the high and low frequencies making sound choked off and less lively. It’s hard to hear, but it’s obvious when you A/B them. Well that’s what the Exciter does, it adds back the frequencies being squashed together and makes every amp model sound so much better, like unplugging your ears. I’m convinced the zoom g5n is the peak of units like this because it both does everything as well as you ever want, and it’s also intuitive and feels like a real pedal board and not like an iPad. I thought I was going to like the kemper and the ampero, but nope they did too much and took way too long to figure out.

For the zoom g5n can the pedal chain in this processor be split before passing in the amp? Like if I have to make wider tones like using two amps one delayed after the other to create a wider tones... To create like a hard panned guitar / dual tracked guitars..... Can I do that in this processor?
