❤miss the Frances Monk opening theme music,and during the final battle,,plus Col.Lake was both in Shado Control,and on Moonbase Giving orders to the interceptor pilots during the final battle, (guess thought since she was in t n e wig,no one whould notice😂)but otherwise ,well done. Is this version going to be the new blu-ray?

this merely a restoration of the original 1974 Invasion: UFO film - 1080p files cropped for 16x9 ratio - this is not intended for any blu-ray release - 🛸✨
6:05 When Straker enters the lift, the voice that says "Would you turn around Colonel" sounds a lot like Straker. I wonder if it is the voice of Ed Bishop? UFO was first broadcast in Australia we only got to experience it in glorious Black and White. Thanks to a range of factors, mainly Government related, we did not get Colour Television until the mid 1970s. It is so good to see these programs in all of their remastered to digital video and audio glory after all of these years. Ed Bishop was the perfect Straker. Such a pity he never got the chance to play some sort of role in Space: 1999. Considering the history of the two programs, he would have been an ideal linking character. The Andersons made a wonderful contribution to the world of film and television that will endure. Cheers from the Land Down Under.

One series I like is called "V", the one with more than 2 episodes with Marc Singer the Beastmaster. Another is "Invaders" with Roy Thinnes. Both excellent, except I didn't like the allegorical nature of the first half of "V".

If you "blow the tanks" and eliminate air, won't that cause the sub to descend? Re-inflating the tanks with compressed air and displacing the water causes a sub to rise.
@user-eo7sz8kk6xКүн бұрын
@@NoosaHeads I believe blowing the (ballast) tanks refers to blowing out the water with air to increase buoyancy, thus causing the submarine to rise. Pressure is required hence blowing. No pressure is required to refill the tanks with water.

how is the first batch makin outward? one batch. How is, not how are.
@FandersonUfo4 күн бұрын
I think the grammar allows 'is' or 'are' and both would be correct. The 'is' would apply to the singular batch and the 'are' could be applied to the multiple members in that singular batch. "How are the first batch making out?" or "How is the first batch making out? are both fine with me.
@SembuaHumpdediddle3 күн бұрын
I appreciate your kind attitude. Have you been taught how to identify the subject of a sentence? A prepositional phrase. The subject is "batch". The other noun (I forgot what it is) is the object of a prepositional phrase. Have you been trained to identify those elements of a sentence? If not, then don't go by what you hear others doin. Analysis is the only way to determine what is right, not by hearin what others do. Others are wrong. @@FandersonUfo

@@SembuaHumpdediddle - hey diddle - I'm a 64 yo native English speaker - if the subject is batch (in this case a single batch of multiple items) then 'is' NOT 'are' is the correct verb form - although I still suggest that either the singular or the multiple version of of the verb can be used
@SembuaHumpdediddle3 күн бұрын
You just wrote two contradictory claimins. How many batches -- 1 batch or multiple. Subject and verb must agree in number. Work hard to rid our planet of the masses. The new world order is funded by the masses, and is attributable for all disastrous complaints whereof you get word lately, so out with the masses. What is the rule whereby you would use a plural verb with a singular subject? I don't think that you ever learned English. What you called "English" is some kind of patois or creole, lackin proper form. @@FandersonUfo

Any how I never earlier knew of this series, and I like the tone of it. Thank you for uploadin it. Also it is one of many that were made to tell the public actual history but cloaked in fictitious garb. Creole (n.) "person born in a country but of a people not indigenous to it," from French créole, from Spanish criollo "(person) native to a locality," from Portuguese crioulo, diminutive of cria "person (especially a servant) raised in one's house," from criar "to raise or bring up," from Latin creare "to make, bring forth, produce, beget," What I meant by creole, was folks of another kind than highly educated, dedicated-to-heritage, and intelligent folks of Northern European ancestry. @@FandersonUfo
