Thank you this video is very helpful to understanding for bvp4c methode code. Why you use exponential function for the initial gausses in 2nd solution? We can't use any number for second solution initial gauss like first solution initial gauss?

You're welcome. Yes, you can actually try any value for the initial guesses. I use exp(-x) as to give a small value to the guesses. And, make sure the value of the guesses for the first and the second is different, if you want to generate more that one solution (e.g., dual solutions)

Your code is too clear and precise. 👍 I've some questions. 1. Is there any way to find initial values and critical points. Or the method you used in this video is the only way?

Do you mean the initial value for the parameter or the initial guesses? If for the initial guesses, I can't point out any absolute guess value, it depends on the problem which you need to undergo several trial-and-error processes till you obtain the best result that satisfies the boundary conditions. And, for the critical point, it is actually the last possible point that you can obtain for certain specific configurations. So, yes, for now, this is the method that I know. I hope this helps.

Do you mean the error? Maybe you need to adjust the value of the parameters e.g. try to make them small, or adjust the initial guesses.

I guess, yes. It can be unsolvable if the initialization value doesn't meet the convergent criteria.

Hi, I'm just curious why don't you used direct command to get skin friction as a function of Lambda for varying A? Second, you are manually updating the tables or they are done through some codes? Thanks

Hi. I'm not sure what do you mean by direct command, but as for now, the command that I used is as shown in 'Tutorial 2' video. Yes, the tables need to be updated manually for each point, for varying parameters.
