Hello, I'm dealing with this issue. I have a 2002 df115. I am trying to remove the powerhead and its not wanting to break free. I have removed the 16 bolts holding it on. Is it necessary to remove the intake manifold, wiring harness, and electrical box for it to release from the engine holder? It wouldn't seem like any of those would be connecting the powerhead to the engine holder. I realize they are sometimes fused together but I just want to be sure I'm not missing something. Thanks for any tips!

How did you make smooth start without choke? And i would like to figure it out how install Motogadget M.unit and custom clip ons, what's happening with choke?

The launch was good but the bystanders made me flinch. I'm guessing your buddy(s) was supposed to help watch to see if the boat cleared the ramp curbing. The one with the rope wasn't and the one with the camera probably wouldn't have said a thing till there was an awful noise. Fortunately you've got enough experience and a good bit of luck this launch went well.

No it wont flush your motor you need to start the motor in order for the water impellar to suck water into it

The hose pressure will flush the colling passages in the engine ... no need to start the engine.
