Very nice stitch pattern. How do I start the stitch pattern? Do I start with an even or odd starting chain, and what to do when it's time to turn to begin the next row ? Thank you. :)

Can the same technique be used with the garter stitch? Thank you!
@JoannesWeb12 сағат бұрын
Absolutely! This is only a cast on. You can continue with whatever stitch you're making.

I like the cast-on method. Much easier than what I was doing before.

I just learned to knit a few days ago and have been knitting potholders using a garter stitch. I crochet so I was curious about simple knitted lace stitches and your video appeared in my search results. Thank you so much for sharing this. I prefer crochet to knitting BUT I'm eager to knit something simple and wearable. Your pattern looks like it could make a nice lightweight scarf. Again, thank you for this lesson!
