For optimal performance, it's recommended to connect the motorcycle cables first, and then the Optimate charging leads (so they are on top not between). This configuration helps minimize resistance, ensuring efficient battery charging and preventing potential issues when the bike is in use.

It is NOT just a steel pin. In the steel Anti Pich Pin, at both sides, there is a extra though steel pin glued in. I believe it was Thungsten.

Trying to get this straight. The preload for passenger , and or bags needs to be selected on the center stand. But. I can adjust sport mode comfort mode ect while on the bike and or moving? (2015 KTM 1290 super adv)
@Grumpybikewizard
@Grumpybikewizard 6 ай бұрын
Doesn't need to be on the stand, just needs to have no dynamic load on it (i.e. you're not sitting on it) for preload adjustment. Driving mode can be done any time.

@@Grumpybikewizardso, to add more clarity (having a 2016 SAS) my bike just needs to be standing on both wheels (luggage on ok?) but not me sitting on it…correct?

Just guessing: is the purple wire to detect that you are moving and if that is the case it won't let you operate the satnav unit?
@Grumpybikewizard
@Grumpybikewizard 8 ай бұрын
Possibly yeah, but not necessarily for that reason - the BMW satnav units have a load of data they take from the bike like speed, lean angle etc. - so it's most likely that.

Nothing worse than the absolute devastation of a mad overpriced breakfast, especially when it smells lovely. Motorways are no craic anyway. Jobs are over rated, become one of them investor influencers who are minted and just tell everyone "cmere be minted like me". Did you ever name it? "Not a lemon" isn't a great name. Yeah luggage is way easy to over do. Member Wales? I only had a bag and topbox and could have managed with that for ages. The one bike thing is interesting, I might have to steal that and make a video on it tbh. I honestly feel you might miss the sitty uppy superiority of the GS. Delicious wet nonsense hahahahahaha. I only have clammy plastic sadly. It's way too hot here a lot of the time for something like Rukka. I do love the sound of the rain bopping off a helmet. Hurty rain is not great. A grand auld shpin.

Introspective Wizard is cool. I think way way way more people are like that than you'd ever know. I was very bad for it for a while. Hon Mrs Grumpy. Legend. Puck ye out the door again. I'm only upset yer not at home as Unit updates have been lacking. Telling ya, if you do it in January there's loads of cabin space and everyone thinks you're mental. You should definitely ride thru the UK and see can you hit a few of the bike spots, the blasting motorways is kind of shite tho. Did ye get a hape of mustard though?

Doin an auld servicio. I'm actually well excited for this big shpin. Just make sure ye come over here too or I'll be shot for collecting as many bikes as I am probably. Yeah I try do the more targeted recording these days otherwise I get very poor at doing the videos from it. Tiktok I genuinely don't enjoy, especially making the videos for it. Show us all the short class bits, the Dolomites I'd watch a 15 hour video of that place so I'm a bad case study. That's the only way to be tbh, feels too much like work if you go out only for videos. And it's not bloody work, tis bikes. I'm only all of the jealous.

Fit wider tubular bars and risers and a high seat for improved legroom and you have a GS beating all rounder. I like the older dash. It’s simple and clear. Most of these tft screens are way too cluttered with too much information and take your eyes off where you should be looking. Fit a Navi6 and you have your tft (effectively) . The RS is way better value used. Just bought a 2018 model 7K under new price with 5k on the clock. If it’s half as good as my older GSA I’ll be a happy man.

I got a cheapo one from Amazon and paid 26Eur. I do find the BMW app quite good at least. My GS is due in at the end of Feb for it's 1st service, so will get that recall update done then. I doubt I'd ever be impacted by the flaw. You need to catch air for it to hit.
