So,8 times now the chaos blades have been upgraded by fire.... (GOW,GOW2,GOW3,GOWGOS,GOWCOO,GOWA,GOW 2019,GOD RAGNARAK).At this point ,they should be putting off pure plasma not fire. Getting platinum in all of them was the funnest series of achievements ive done in all the gaming ive done since i started playing video games on the nintendo when i was 7. Man im getting old af.😂

People really missed the entire point of this scene. Saying, "He changes his mind too quickly."... guys... he never wanted to fulfill ragnarok because it would mean hos true love dies... when he senses the power of those blades... he realizes he can fulfill his destiny without needing to sacrifice the love of his life. It also goes along perfectly with the story of kratos rise to true godhood

It’s okay dude. The sequel wasn’t paced as well as the 2018 game and that’s OOOKKKaayy. It had some great moments but, overall, it was trying too hard to live up to its newfound fame. Thankfully, it ended up being a kickass sequel nonetheless.

I know that the comment section is hating on this scene, but it’s not that bad or far fetched. Tbh, it kinda makes sense since before The Blades of Chaos, the only way to turn Surtr into Ragnarok was to have him combine with Simmara. But since The Blades of Chaos are very powerful godlike weapons and can harness primordial fire and whatnot, it does explain why Surtr combining his fire with Kratos’ fire would give him enough juice to become Ragnarok without having to sacrifice his true love.

@@PanHaszaman did you even play these games? Kratos, the ender of the olympic lineage, is shorter than him. Thor, a rather tall, fat man, can duel with the world serpent. You’d think ppl would know that looks can be deceiving in the GoW universe, especially when it comes to power, but nah. To you, every strong character should look like the hulk. Did you ever consider these characters were given more “normal” sounding voices to, I don’t know, humanize them? Smooth brain take.
