After you do the 300 flow what does it go back to.?
@TeledyneTekmar8 ай бұрын
The flow will adjust to the next method parameter that is outlined in the method. The Fusion utilizes a mass flow controller thus allowing variable flows throughout the method instantaneously.

Thanks for posting. Hopefully you learned to say industrial at this point, lol. Looking for video on proper method for sampling, which is critical, isn't that 101?

IN Phoenix8000, for di water of 2ppb TOC i am getting results about 100ppb ..my raw data counts are in ranges but results are off . should i still run sulfuric acid as sample ?
@manoor63912 жыл бұрын
if my results are not correct for standards solution , is there could be a possible problem with calibration ? or should i start to troubleshoot as described in the video first ?

Hi, in mass balance equation, is Mg mean volume of mass in gas phase?
@TeledyneTekmar4 жыл бұрын
Mg stands for the mass of the sample in the gas phase. As the sample is heated, volatile compounds enter the headspace of the vial. So the combination of the mass of the sample in the gas phase and the mass of the sample matrix is equal to the original mass of the sample: Mo=Mg+Mm. In order to calculate the Mass of the gas you would need to multiply the concentration of the gas and the volume of the gas: Mg=Cg*Vg.

Please I have a question in TOC fusion I have a bad repeatability for the blank sample , as I inject it triplicate and every time I got a different reading what are the causes of this. Note : It is a new instrument and it is the first use of it.

I'm fairly certain that the listed guideline of MDL < 5 x spike is not a requirement. The CFR recommends the starting point for the MDL study spikes as 3-5 x the estimated (or desired) MDL, but the first study based on those spike levels frequently fails the requirements that MDL < spike < 10xMDL and the study has to be repeated with adjusted spike levels depending on which direction it failed. The adjusted spike levels may or may not fall in that 3-5x range.
