I remember as a child always taking impeccable care of my shoes. That’s how we were taught. Even I do it the lazy way now. Whatever is easier. I love sneakers and will work at being more mindful of doing it the correct way. Thanks for the reminder and the memories. ❤️

Thank you sir, it helps. I really want to buy proper shoes for once in my life (instead of a pair that fits ok). I can usually tell from the way the shoe looks whether or not they're high quality, but due to my budget I've chosen shoes of lesser quality. It's been a while since I've last bought something that fits really well.

Broke my shoulder on feb 14, 2019 on a steep slippery icy road in St. Moritz. Went to the clinic for x-ray. The other day I went to a sports shoe store to buy a pair of boots because I was unable to bind laces. I was recommended and bought a pair of Merrell jungle moc with "arctic grip" sole. Great shoes! So I bought another pair for summer by mail order (I knew the perfect size for me). I can slip in the shoe by moving the foot up and down without a shoe bone. This shoes are for hiking but also for walking in town. In the beginning they are a little tight but after a short while they fit perfectly.

I agree! The music is loud, distracting, irritating... And totally unnecessary!! 😡
@johncrump3282 жыл бұрын
The “need” for the music is because of our ever growing number of people who were raised with or actually have ADD/ADHD. Irritating need for constant stimulation.

I've always known that as a "Ladder Lace" and a "Sherpa knot" a double pass through bow at the finish which does not untie even in brush. I use the Sherpa knot a lot, but thanks for reminding me about the ladder lace ... my 2 pairs of hiking boots have been cramping my feet and I forgot about this kind of lacing! Now to get longer laces.

Best to avoid Merrill, the sizes are way out and they are designed not to last.

Hello, nice videos. Actually cant find any other info on lacing for performance wise. Would you recommend this technique for a rather shallow or low inset, I have a normal arc by the way, but the top part of my feet are almost flat, so I have trouble lacing my shoes cause I have to tie them extremely close, makes some shoes look ugly and some have permanent cringes.

The "Background" music was too loud for me. I found it a bit distracting. Not sure why music is needed on most backgrounds.

Good information, but I suggest you eliminate the background music. It adds nothing while making it harder to hear the person speaking. Also, my problem is I have large feet (15) with high arches. Even with wide shoes my foot gets really sore on top. Any suggestions?

I was just in Frank's Custom Shoe Fitting store in Middletown. I had no idea who Frank was...I liked him a lot and the so did all the customers. "Frank's fitting changed my life," I heard often. My fitting and shoe recommendations just started. So far his choices for me are great! Man, what an honor to have this athlete take care of my feet. Thanks Frank!

Fantastic suggestions. Best application of super feet I've ever seen. Extrinsic tongue pad is cool but not aesthetically pleasing. These are the reasons Red Wing shoes are premium for full days of work on your paws. Handsome fella too! The music was okay on my iPhone.
