I think it would be beneficial for newer generations if term limits were added to congress. It would help younger people to build a deeper understanding of politics in general by reaching out to politicians who are similar to them in life experiences instead of having to vote for more older traditional candidates. With term limits we would be able to eliminate the issue of incumbency, incumbents having a greater advantage in comparison to newer candidates causes many young people to dissociate and disconnect from the political conversation. By adding term limits we would encourage younger candidates to run, younger candidates being beneficial due to them being more qualified to represent younger voters who make up a bulk of America and who are essential to the development and future of America. I urge other who see this post to spread the idea of adding term limits to people running in government, congress, and politics as a whole.

I liked this video until you mentioned people who choose not to vacc!n@te. People don't go anti-vax due to the 'bandwagon' effect. They do it because they start doing their own research and critical thinking plus looking at the vax insert labels and see that there is harmful chemicals and metals in them. I'd say I'm somewhere in the middle. Soft determinism. I was raised as a Christian, but decided against Christianity at this point despite still meeting the biblical definition of it (1. Believe in God, 2. Believe Jesus is His son.). I feel soft determinism works because I think it fosters the same concept as nature vs nurture, to which the answer is "both." Some people have certain actions and beliefs ingrained into their nature, while others can foster or nurture other behaviors and belief systems. I feel hard determinism and utter free will are two extremes in what is, overall, a gray area. Of course, the question then becomes, to what extent are our actions controlled? To what extent do we control our actions? Is there such a thing as Fate or Destiny? If so, do any free will actions change the course, or is there a set conclusion with slight variations due to actions taken? I'm not sure there's a complete answer to all of this.

I’ve been talking about direct democracy recently without knowing it existed. I was thinking about what system could be less corrupt. I come from Croatia and know that former socialist Yugoslavia was not the best but a lot of people said it was good even if they had no luxury but they liked how no one was homless. Although I still thought if they had authority that was a dictatorship it could have been worse and we see that in lets say Korea with their censorships. Then there was an incident this year where the congress of representatives voted for a guy the people clearly didn’t want… but I realised it wasn’t up to us, we could just protest and hopefully have politicians change their minds. And then I questioned how exactly was this a democracy when I couldn’t vote on this issue but I could only select representatives that were useless. Plus our parties buy voters with goverment money they lobby. And I was thinking how I would rather have a system that was taxless even if I don’t hate the idea of taxes at all just because our parties do this and theres no way we can hold them accountable because they have the power and they can buy anyone with our money. So then it got me thinking that it would be good if each citizen could vote on policies cus that way they can’t buy you off because why would they need to if you can’t vote for them but the policies they bring. It got me thinking how sharing power is a bulletproof system against corruption.
