My two favorite teachers who impacted my career in emergency medicine the most both were at my wedding, my kids first birthdays, and I’ve returned to their schools to give presentations. I still call them Mrs. Everett and Mrs. Bell every time I see them I respect them so much and attribute my passion and career path to their classes I took in all 4 years of highschool. 13 years later and I still send them Christmas cards and check in to see how life is fairing for them. I am working on my credentials to teach EMS at a college solely because of the impact a good teacher has on anyone at any age.
