Thanks SO much for all the book recommendations!!! I just finished Lessons in Chemistry bc your mama said that you both read it together and that I would enjoy it-I LOVED IT!!! Am now reading The Taken by Sarah Pinborough. It’s a horror novel which is one of my favorite genres-also ❤action, adventure, mystery, suspense, and drama-BUT no lovey dovey nonsense for me😀 Loving your videos-keep on reading and I’ll keep on watching for more recommendations!!!!

Lessons In Chemistry is one of my top books ever!! I think about it all the time still! You should definitely watch the Apple TV Plus TV version of it, its also really good.

Welcome to BookTube! It's cool you are a 9th grade English teacher--my daughter is in 9th grade and I'm trying to entice her back to reading. She used to love it, but she's lost interest of late.

That's one of my favorite things to do: getting kids that used to love it back into it. Look up the book How to Raise a Reader for some tips for getting kids that age to loveit again :)
