Hahaha. Exactly: A cairn is a human-made pile (or stack) of stones raised for a purpose, usually as a marker or as a burial mound. The word cairn comes from the Scottish Gaelic: càrn [ˈkʰaːrˠn̪ˠ] (plural càirn [ˈkʰaːrˠɲ]).[1]

No but The Niangua River is a 125-mile-long tributary of the Osage River in the Ozarks region of southern and central Missouri in the United States. I can’t currently control when I go, all based on family travel since I’m self-funding. Thanks for the kind feedback on the videos. My goal is to keep going and keep making higher quality content.

Great debate on this one. Industry marketing wants to show you tons of fancy stuff that “makes you a better angler”. It’s not necessary in most situations. Simple flies, minimal gear, and time on the water or at the vise honing your abilities is what matters.
