One of the best Titanic documentaries I've seen. I enjoyed seeing the outside perspective of the sinking though I would've liked it to be feature length.

25:40 watch titanic text messages here on youtube and you will see this is false. It was because frankfurt was still asking "whats the matter" at like 1:50 a half an hour before the ship went down and well too late to help at all.

i cant belive this is filmed in late 90s or early 2000s, feel is like its made in 80s! and i didnt knew about the book and colision on the start of the voyage. R.I.P. voyagers of the ship and King Theoden Bernard Hill

Imagine people's desperation that they had to SNATCH babies out of other people's hands JUST to have a glimmer of a hope for survival thereby breaking hearts as well as breaking everything else including their spirits... but not their souls...tbh theres thousands of stories we havent heard because those people drowned to their graves that night along with their stories too🙏🏽. Imagine there couldve been some heroic and adventurous type actions that coulda been like out of a Hollywood movie, but we just never got to know because the real stories died that night with them. Its like watching a movie that has its amazing twists and turns and the ending has a happily ever after, but all those amazing stories we dont know.. their ending wasn't like a movie... im babbling now but tmi guess its just the human aspect of being involved in such a tragedy plus all those 3rd class ppl who didnt have a clue till too late and were effectively kept under lock 🔒 along with the heroes in the boiler rooms that were locked in and who kept the ships electric running till the dying secs.. 😢😢😢 Fly high Titanic and all those souls who passed on from that horrific night 🙏🏽 🕊 🙏🏽

Wasn't the Titanic's original propeller fitted to the Olympic when she threw hers in an effort to get the Olympic back in something resembling working order again?
@Dizzy19.Ай бұрын
Every White Star ship had it's own spare propeller blades, no need to borrow and the pitches on the blades for Titanic and Olympic were different, so swapping was not possible.

they put profit above everything else they should of had enough lifeboats for everyone on board they shouldn't of been going is fast as they were they were told there were icebergs ahead they knew they could not steer the ship is fast because of the propeller it was not unsinkable because the water could spill over into each five compartments they were also mocking god saying he can't sink it foolishness

5:42 A quite interesting story I've heard about Ismay is that around the time "A Night to Remember" was published in November 1955 Walter Lord got a letter from England about the "remarkable finish" at the 1913 Derby in Epsom Downs. Craganour, the favourite, crossed the line first and was escorted to the winners' circle. Then, without a protest from anyone, it was disqualified and the race was awarded to second-place Aboyeur. Craganour, Lord's correspondent said, was owned by Bruce Ismay, and I guess the inference is clear: the establishment would never let an Ismay-owned horse win the hallowed Derby. Walter Lord then went to check the story. Everything turned out to be accurate except for one important detail. Joseph Bruce Ismay didn't own Craganour. His younger brother, Charles Bower Ismay, did. Still, Craganour remained disqualified. The reason? Craganour's original jockey had been replaced by an American one, Johnny Reiff. I don't know why that was but the move was immensely unpopular, and the discussions the judges are (apparently) supposed to conduct at the end of the race before announcing the winner presented them with the golden opportunity to discredit Reiff. Walter Lord, though, said he still got letters afterwards still linking Bruce (not Bower) Ismay and Craganour together
@RdkDhrn-do2bt5 ай бұрын
This felt to me a cheap blame game. Titanic was a tragedy. Bruce Ismay can not be casted as an evil man here.
