Got my ticket for June 6th and 8th in Tampa. My 51st birthday is June 7th. I’m basically gonna take the whole week off. Last time I saw them was December 1999 with sevendust, kid rock, and creed! I swear it seems like I was just at that show!

I saw Priest last year at the Oakdale. I didn't go back this year because as a fan I was embarrassed by the crowd. I'm glad everyone noticed how dull the crowd was.

This was the best metal show I've ever been to. Constant stream of crowd surfers, huge mosh-pit to the right of me. And of course, the great Avatar and their engagement with the crowd. Special thanks to my bro with close up video I've added as picture-in-picture. ENJOY!

I keep hearing someone say "sit the fuck down". That's why I hate metal shows with all seating. I had to get a ticket on the last row of a balcony in a theater so I can stand up and nobody telling me to sit down.

Sevendust, LaJon is an absolute sweetheart, and everyone else looks like they would shiv you if you even spoke a word to them. I know they're all great guys, but honestly they're a little scary looking.
