Great tool i must say. Hope you can help. I lost the smd capacitor from a key and i need to know the type and size and where can i purchase the capacitors? Can you help? Thank you. I should of bought the capacitors first lol.

Thanks for your comment, no each device uses their own specialized keys, keep in mind KYDZ's solution is solder-free, while xhorse requires soldering many lines to the original PCB which makes the job riskier, + xhorse requires you to already have either the VVDI2 or KEYTOOL PLUS, where-as KYDZ includes a programming plug in the box, or even supports third-party devices for the OBD learning part. What's your opinion on the MS80 vs Keymaster G3? Will it have the same capabilities for MOTO? I see they have dropped the price at least 1K for the MS80 recently

Hey Corey, the G3 is an all-in-one of all OBDSTAR's tools for both Cars and Moto/Atv/Marine/Jet-ski, the MS80 is only for motorcycles, it does include ODO calibration, but is missing the ECU/TCU/BCM cloning, Airbag/Crash reset and Test-Platform functions available on the G3. (plus car key programming) The G3 will make much more sense even after the price decrease if you're looking for those extra functions instead of buying the DC706, MT501/MT502, and P50 Seperately. Great tutorial - currently going through your BMW course. Your awesome. One question on this topic of BMW motorcycles. I tried generating a 8A chip instead of xhorses universal smart key. So basically it would work like the Plastic emergency key (that would start). However we get an error that the vvdi key tool will only accept the XM38 Motorcycke key.... So basically it will only allow a XM38 and not allow us to generate just transponder chip. Do you know of a way around that?

Hello my friend. I am a key maker and I purchased the vvdi key tool plus device. Can this device use OBD for all vehicles with CAS3 and CAS4 systems? Or do we need to disassemble it? Can you give me some information about it?

Hello Enesguler thanks for your interest, yes, CAS3 and CAS4 can be done fully by OBD for adding keys, for All keys lost you will need to also get the ISN. Keep in mind CAS3+ ISTAP is risky by OBD and you shouldn't attempt it without proper training. We assume you’re talking about the keypad aftermarket security device installed in the car, without putting in the code or bridging the disconnections that were made when installing that pad, there will be no communication through OBD or ability to turn on the cluster. Hey Jorge, the solution is getting global versions of tools that don’t IP-lock regions, like Xhorse, CGDI, OBDSTAR, Lonsdor(maybe) - keep in mind most of them do have USA versions, just don’t buy those, since the global versions will still work in the US. (We sell global versions at KeyShop Online) So basically no Autel, Xtool or Code-Cannibal to name a few. But most likely the vsp won’t happen anytime soon with a mandate, at the moment no Chinese company said they will participate, and forcing them to might never happen.

For everyone, this doesn't work if you don't have a working smart key, with the emergency key it doesn't work this method either with all key lost no let in
