shame the video did not really show you how to remove the starter, and or the HPFP and how to use the special tool, or let you know if you have to lock the engine up before removing the HPFP

To come up with a comparable modern analog to the Gemini OBC, the way to think of it would be like a dedicated programmable scientific calculator (hardwired into program mode) with a clock that could also take in dozens of converted analog to digital signals in real time. It really is a one of a kind. The Apollo Guidance Computer, Skylab's on board computer and the Argon-11S and Argon-16 and Salyut-1 (the computer, not the space station) would fall in this same category. The Shuttle's computer system is one big step ahead of all these combined in complexity and power (first alpha-numeric and graphical output), but it still retains the spacecraft dedicated philosophy in design. (i.e. There is no convenient way to use it as a calculator or for any other purpose).

Hi mate Ive just sorted my wipers out??? sort of haha. The motor now runs as it should but it seems as the wipers are pushed too tight to the window?? i tighten them as youve shown but they jam the motor and it doesnt move, then when loosen a touch they spin. I dont suppose you have any idea on this at all?? It does feel like the wiper arms have alot of tension against the window and they used to rub when they worked previously. Appreciate any help or feedback youcan give. Thanks Craig

Very informative thank you for posting.👍👏 Do you find the engine powerful enough for rapid acceleration and how comfortable are the seats during long journeys, ie 1 hour+? What colour blue is your car and now that you have owned it for decent amount of time, are you happy with it?
@HomoTheBeast3 жыл бұрын
Rapid acceleration is a grey area. For a 1.6 huge family car yes it’s good. But compared to a 1.6 hot hatch sporty car, no it’s not it’s sluggish. Comfortable enough to spend a good 4 hours driving easily. Plenty of room and comfort in all seats. For long journeys this one I believe is stellar blue, and yes, with nearly 40k miles it’s very good and comfy plenty of poke and power for my needs. It will also go faster than the paper stated stats. Hyundai are very good. The down mark it. So when you do 0-60 faster then the book mark. You feel good. Same with top speed.

I just used one for (hopefully) the last time, to drink one third of my strawberry milkshake. Took something like 10 minutes to go completely soggy. Yeah I admit I use quite a grip on the straw with my teeth, but it wasn't an issue with the plastic because it just bounces back to its shape. Also, the plastic had no after taste. The cardboard definitely has one, it's pretty unpleasant and I can't enjoy my milkshakes like before. Thanks for this coffee lid idea. Nice one.

Hi- I just had a cdl internals+linkage fitted by a garage. I was told the warning light wasn’t present so it doesn’t work. However I can see it in the dash and I think the wiring was connected to the switch that goes on transfer case. Any suggestions of why it might not work ? First thing I’m going to do is check bulb in instrument panel
@HomoTheBeast3 жыл бұрын
It would only be the light and electronic side that’s not working. If they fitted the diff lock it’s mechanical. I would check they have actually fitted it then see if it locks. The way to test it. Is to Lift one side of the truck put the truck in gear and in to diff lock. And try turn the front and back wheels opposite With diff lock they should only turn the same direction. If you have a auto, put it in park.

Hi good step by step video.. Well explained. I've got a 2002 Land Rover discovery 2 td5 ES but automatic. Is this a similar procedure and have you got a video to show how. Thanks again Simon
@HomoTheBeast4 жыл бұрын
The fitting is very similar however the top plate is diffirent. But before you strip all the centre down, the 2000-2004 is a vague period where it was hit and miss on wethher you got a diff lock box or not. I would climb under the truck in the safest way using jacks and stands or a set of ramps and check above the front output for the selector. 👍

How different was the Gemini to the Apollo computer?
@HomoTheBeast5 жыл бұрын
I wish I could give a good answer for this but I can't. The computers for me are massively different, Apollo can do much more but Gemini I find is simpler. That may be because I'm daft and just can't figure out Apollo but that's just me.

Sure. As with any of the stages it's a case of practice and it will become second nature. The only one I still struggle with is Apollo as it's such a complex beast.
