I have a 2016 CRV with a trailer hitch on it and every year when we go get our Christmas tree I use this feature to keep an eye on the tree while it is on the little trailer hitch shelf/rack I have. Only time I use it but am glad it's there!! Well I guess also when we go to recycle the tree and my 8 year old rides on the rack on the side streets back to the house

not 💯 % sure, but might be the album art which shows up while using apple and pandora seems to be related to satellite radio I guess.

I'm gonna ask hoping someone comes along and reads this, why don't it show an actual odometer on the 2014 Honda Civic. It just shows the RPM gage on the bottom screen. Top screen just the speed you're going. No actual "top speed" or how fast it's registered for. Not a big deal, I've had the car for 7 years now. Just wondering why it's now shown.

Does no one get that when you first reset the tripometer it resets you average MPG. So if you took off and then came to a stop to film this your average MPG would show nothing horrible reading. The same of you reset while cruising at highway speed but then getting off an off ramp and coming to a stop. You would be showing a crazy high MPG like 80 MPG.

The main reason for this option to exist is that it is used to adjust the yellow backup guiding lines on the screen.

Hey I was wondering if you could help me with my Honda Civic 2014…the backup camera as well as the screen that tells me my mileage has gone black. Now I’ve looked for fuses can’t seem to find any out but I may have been looking at wrong ones…lol I’ve disconnected the battery n nothing. I need to know my mileage n all the other things that’s on that screen I want to use again. No one can seem to help me but I have not taken it to Honda nor do I really want but I’m getting desperate. Thanks

@@joliehawkins3377 no I had to take mine to Honda and pay for a new one. I would suggest if you know anyone who can work outside of Honda to take a look first. I do think mine could’ve been resolved had I done that.

Well that’s good I’m glad you were able to find something and I’ll tell you something else I found out. Certain newer years of Hondas take a certain transmission fluid which you have to take to them for service but some very few Napa stores carry it. I just so happened to know someone who works there and got a few gallons just in case. I hope you can get it figured out and I always try to work on my car or take to a mechanic and not Honda cause their so durn expensive. Best of luck

might've had the battery replaced. my parent's Civic did that too after a new battery was installed, it was back to normal after about a month of driving.
