I'm at a loss. so beautiful. Thanks for the encouragement and honesty. We all need reality, not just the pretty answers. That's where the real beauty is.

This sermon can be classified as a "Moral Example Sermon", as it emphasizes moral lessons and examples of Christian living derived from Ruth, Boaz, and contemporary analogies like Mother Teresa and a local benefactor. However, it exhibits a strong absence of direct, Christ-centered Gospel proclamation. Grade: C This sermon demonstrates a moralistic focus with examples and anecdotes overshadowing a clear proclamation of Law and Gospel. While Gospel elements are present, they are scattered and insufficiently distinct.

God reminded me of the following chapters of Isaiah 54-58 that I read few days ago but after listening to this session in our biblestudy group, I didnt realise how powerful & encouraging it would be. This is what stood out in the scripture I rcvd! Lord You are My Maker, my husband and I will only be faithful to You. Not obeying is being unfaithful. You are my Redeemer, the Lord of hosts, the Holy One and God of all the earth. Mountains *shall* depart&hills removed, but Your kindness wont depart and Your Peace wont be removed. Your mercy is forever. I will be established in righteousness, be far from oppression, will not fear and terror wont come near me. *They* will gather but not bcause of YOU. *Those who gather against me* will surely fall. *No weapon formed against me shall prosper.* YOU condemn every tongue that rises against me. Your thoughts arent mine and my ways arent Yours. *Your Word shall not return void to You but accomplish and prosper in the very thing You sent it out to do.* I will not fast for strife and debate *nor repay evil for evil,* but rather with love & goodness. Love, kindness, prayer, truth, forgiveness and pursuing peace are my weapons. *YOUR fast you chose for me is to discipline* my bodily desires and to be *more responsive to others needs, to loose & undo bonds of wickedness & heavy burdens.* I break every yoke in the name of Jesus over me, to share bread with others & bring the poor to my house that is cast out & *not hide myself in my flesh and satisfy my afflicted soul.OnlyTHEN* You say my light, my healing and righteousness shall break forth&come. I will call and You will answer. *You will guide me, satisfy me and strengthen me continually.* I turn away from doing my pleasures, doing my own ways & speaking my own words- *THEN I shall DELIGHT myself in the Lord.*

What & Who do we allow in our lives to influence us? The volume in our lives doesnt equal the depth of our discipleship. I love the example of the tiny mustard seeds quietly growing unnnoticed. Scripture says not to draw attention to self nor seek approval of others. Phil 2:7-Jesus became nothing to take the nature of a servant, not wanting to be seen or promote self. What struck me was His deep empathy for the outcast and silenced the noise of religious knowledge. His kindness influenced the outcome. Whats in our heart flows from our mouth and to our outward behaviour. People tend not to care how much you know until they know how much you care. To be unseen can be our greatest influence. How should we pursue depth over noise from the shallow end? Not to be a clanging symbol without love. Once the yeast spread thru the dough and process of the mustard seed grows into a tree, the transformation is clear.P The process of making bread is first to spread yeast in dough & means we need to ACT first by kneading it. THEN Learn to WAIT by putting it in the sun. Result can flop or do what its supposed to. We must trust God to bring that transformation when we Act in obedience and trust in Him, then we'll shout from rooftops when we see His work in us & transformation-daily process to become more like Him. Our lack of faith&insecurity is trying to do work of the yeast or roots of the mustard seed which is Gods Work. Doesnt matter the size of group or church, but important to stay true to our calling in our mission in Christ. If we tasted and seen God is good, that should create a desire for us to want to know Him deeper. Not about size or volume but us wanting to go deep in Him & Him to work deep in us for His Will & Glory to be shown.

Tim Mackie is brilliant and speaks Truth in such a unique, refreshing, artistic way! He knows and has studied “blueberries” in depth for years and has purple teeth as well. He CAN be trusted! My brother has deepened my faith over the years. I highly recommend getting to know him and his life’s portfolio better!

The sessions you rcvd from our Heavenly Father has given me a much more deeper perspective on life of denying self and full surrender. Our minister is sharing presently these sessions at our biblestudy and very happy that I can go thru it again at home. The distractions in life are crazy, including media & technology. I believe it can be used for good, otherwise our minister wouldnt have gotten on to this site. Busyness can be a cross for many of us in our relationship with God. I see in my mind a picture of Jesus who is listening to a copious amount of prayers each day and working in each of our hearts, but somehow I dont see it that He is busy but rather that it is Love of reaching out. Our Calling should be the same, to be able to stop to drink tea or pray with someone or to just serve in a way Jesus served and not to be served. I know He is at work and I thank God that He is the One who puts that desire and hunger in our hearts. We are to cry out for Him to save us and grow into an obedient relationship wirh Him. Nothing is better than to know that HE Knows Everything about us, our thoughts & our evetything. We cant escape that. The beautiful part is that He too went thru hell on earth but the glorious part is as His Word says that there is no more death and we pass on from this life to just a better life with Him. We cant do it alone and He promises us He is with us always. My whole outlook has just changed from better to excellency. Statement everyday should be: Here am I Lord in full surrender to You, at Your service, to be dead to sin & alive to Christ in bringing glory to Him in everuthing I speak think and do.
