i dont know what im doing wrong but in my case it always goes black and surface goes off easily i tried many different metal objects and results are same even tried different power supplies

Unless you prep the surface with a degreaser and an acid the new metal will flake off pretty easily. The color I am not as sure about, is the solution bright blue copper sulfate?
@sgt.miningdrill2680Күн бұрын
@BeardedScienceGuy water is fully saturated with copper sulfide probably my power supplies are bad but its hard to find information for best voltage and amperage ratio

We separated water into hydrogen and oxygen in high school. When a classmate asked if hydrogen is explosive I said "just ask the Hindenburg."

All the particles (smoke) coming from the burning paper have only a downwards vector indicating that all particles are more dense than air. So we're is the carbon monoxide then? It's said to be lighter than air so surly we should see some kind of upwards vector. Yes carbon monoxide is colourless but surely it should be revealed by the smoke and carry some denser particles up with it.

Heya. I polish brass as one of the processes I work, most of which has a very high cooper content. This gas is disgusting. I tell trainees to stand as far away as you can while still dipping parts. It STINKS.

Well this finally gave me a good visualization about what happened on that sub. Now I have to do this experiment with my son. Now only if we could demonstrate spaghettifacation. We're watching Star Trek and something came up about black holes lol

What size is the larger bottle with a smaller opening? I see the regular reaction uses a 200mL flask. I was wanting to size everything up to get the larger effect.
