Team, I do job in USA company from UAE, its not online job, its physical job. I earn salary that qualify that amount required for D7 visa per month. I also has required statement to survive in Portugal for 2 years. As this job is outside of Portugal, will my income be counted as passive income? If I keep my family in Portgul and keep supporting them by UAE salary, Can I get D7 visa approval ?

Hi, nice video. Just a note about the minimum stay requirements, you’ve mentioned per year but it’s actually per permit. Which means the first permit is valid for 2 years and you need to live in Portugal for 16 months (24-8 non consecutive = 16) or 18 months (24-6 consecutive = 18). The next permit is valid for 3 years with a minimum stay of 28 to 30 months. 😊

Hi, I've been following your viedos for a long time. Can you tell me what the tax rate is for retired Europeans who only receive a pension, have assets and buy a property for their own use. You hear various things, including that only 10% tax is payable on the pension (since Jan 24), there is no wealth tax and approx. 0.3% tax is payable per year on the property.

when someone talks bull shit about floods when the country suffers from major drafts and heat not sound professional at all , most common mistake is to believe to people who try to sell you something -all they lie -and its starts like that -"you can do " usual later -that most likely is impossible or will cost double normally as first asking numbers typical lies have 3 wells is plenty of water on photos green water some wells are empty watch for season photos if all-year dry grassland has a 99% lack of water that huge problem heat can be 55 degrees celsius no road to the property, no plan from the property and you can get a photo with someone in other homes -not your on your property no roads, no usable lands. power away can cost easily 30000 , ask for active hospitals you may need one in farm crap happen -or marry bring own doctor, I'm an expert :D =there is no work most people, hit that rock, come repairs are done, money is burned -what to =nothing are forced to sell for 20% of the value and move out because they are away from people, there is no roads, no job, no people to trade with, too far away to sell goods or get something. lot examples to people leaving their beloved homes and moving to town in some rat hole room just to have a job near and remember if someone says -you can do that later -do if you want - you must feel so great pain in the ass like you have sat on red hot charcoal =they7-want burn you. and people scam like sell and expect to you fail and after the job is done or improve you sell back property with 50% discount -visa can be issue to is not your country -even if one day came tractor and you lose half land -there is no law to they can't do that -you not in your country and laws is very different even you sue them it will take decades. want to move to a country where you will be poor like a gypsy -good luck

I have been visiting Portugal since 2009 and adore it. I'm planning to retire in about 2 years but have to sell up first and apply for a D7. I have learnt some Portuguese to get by when on holiday, as l love the language despite people saying it's hard but l keep learning and will do more when l get to Portugal. I'm looking to live in Viana Do Castelo, as it seems to have everything I'm looking for. l know it's the North but l thought if it gets too cold in the winter l could pop over to the Algarve. Do you know much of the areas in Viana that would be nice to live but still accessible by transport?
@PortugalBuyers3 ай бұрын
That's fantastic to hear about your love for Portugal and your plans for retirement! Viana Do Castelo is a charming choice, with its rich history and beautiful landscapes. And don't worry about the Portuguese language - your enthusiasm and dedication to learning will take you far, and the locals will surely appreciate your efforts. Plus, the idea of splitting your time between the North and the Algarve sounds like the perfect way to enjoy the best of both worlds! Thank you for watching and commenting!!

Very interesting to know that Portugal has specific regulations and it looks like everyone needs to gain a lot of informations before buying anything (for example, the 1951 regulation). Also, in France, we have the ABF (Architecte des Bâtiments de France). If the house is in their juridiction area, the owner of the house will have many obligations to follow if he wants to renovate the house (particulary the outside). I suppose Portgal has similar areas and institutions, what do you know about that ?

I have a question, I see you indicate that without a visa, your only allowed to stay in Portugal for 90 days within a 180 period. Does this mean that I can leave, possibly visit another country for three months, then come back to Portugal for another 3 months. I wasn’t aware that you have to apply at the consulate in your country, I thought I would apply for the D7 while I’m in Portugal. Is it ever possible to make the visa application in Portugal? I’m from the US. Thanks, any help is appreciated.

hey i am from the uk but have nhr in portugal. My uk accountant is very confused, while my PT accountant is saying i could've avoided getting taxed in portugal for my personal income (caused by the UK accountant). Is the best set up to only pay yourself in dividends and avoid paying any salary to get 0%?

Can you still work ONLINE from home though? Cause that'd be considered as an extra income!
@peterk59818 ай бұрын
In your videom, you confuse people by saying that national health insurance is only for those who work in Portugal or contribute to it. You forgot about the pensioners from EU and other countries with D7 visa, the first category of them gets residence fast and then is entitled, as being residents, to national health system. It is important when you do something publicly to provide exact information.

I just got off the phone from an agent in Lisbon and he told me I need to have close to 19,000 euros for me and another 8 or so for my wife in a Portuguese bank account before I even try to apply. And when I renew my visa after 2 years, I need to still have close to 30,000 euros in the bank.
