The moment, I saw your faces in the beginning (and the lovely car-cleaner), I knew it's a great video... - and it really is! Quality, Fun, Content : I LOVE IT ALL - Special surprise at 54:50 .... ! Keep it on - to live free and easy ; do, what you love to do and DO IT TODAY ! (Everything seems to be so easy today - the main routes, the borders, communication .... 40 years ago - in 1981 we were on the way with an old Mercedes 200 D - but the Ayatollah Chomeini closed the borders to Iran, no possibility through Irak, Afghanistan, Georgia either - syrian customs wanted 1000 US$ just for bakshish ... ... so we sold the car and flew to India) - It feels like yesterday to me - but as time flies - suddenly/now I'm to old to do it alone

Epic video lads. What Cameras did you use for most of the vidoes? Just a phone /gopro/drone or did you have a decent camera with you?? Love the craic, the editing and everything about it.

Lovely stuff mate. Maybe less of the warp stabiliser and embrace the handheld Shakey footage. Maybe slow down the speed ramping a touch as it’s quite harsh. Overall banging Vid tho mate

What a madcap trip!! Ive watched many a stuffy overland adventure vid but this was by far the most entertaining ever. Why are you all still alive & did you come back with more people than you went with. Your ingenuity in keeping the rolling turds going was impressive & Ive sent the Mongol rally link to my son. So watch out!!! Please don't ever get a job & become normal people. Slainte!

I'm glad you liked our documentary. This truly was an incredible trip and an experience none of will ever forget. We're all somehow still alive and have made all kinds of new friends from it. There was a bunch a father and son teams that done the trip too so maybe an idea for you guys someday!

Me and Shane drove back through Russia, Evan got a flight from Russia to Cambodia and Anthony went with another team as they had lost 2 drivers (they had flown home). The drive back was pretty uneventful. It took us 11 days, driving up to 26 hours at a time without rest. By the time we got the car home it was very unsafe to be on the road. nothing worked any more. I kept it for a bit but after 3 months it just started falling apart so it was sent to the breakers to be recycled. It now lives on as a washing machine in Longford and gets it's kicks from making individual socks disappear so that the owners never have a matching pair.
