I did Aikido and I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. It fucking sucks. It's all momentum/evasion-based defense. The only way to make Aikido work is if you complement it by using another offensive martial art along with it. It has its uses. But it's NOT practical. Like karate or MMA.

Man it's sad to see y'all hate aikido. It was developed to counter swords. It's a serious fighting form. And yes he really has a master rank in it.
