Awesome video. In the last year there is a new concept of Stretch Chains. I’ve been going to one and it’s a game changer! My gal branched out so I am blessed to have her close by and she’s incorporating 1/2 massage with stretch sessions.

I had thread wrap in the wheel and I got some out but not sure if there’s more. I will certainly dive deeper now. Thanks so much for the video. Can you tell me, if I don’t get it out how will it affect my machine?
@annsquiltnstuffАй бұрын
Yes, you want to make sure you remove all of it if possible, it can cause major issues that are expensive repairs if there is a buildup of thread in there. Excessive thread causes your machine to slow down and not run Binds up the machine and can pop a bearing loose inside. Be sure to get yourself one of those wheel covers. They’re relatively inexpensive.

@Peedee3030Ай бұрын
Hi Anne and Pete with the stitch regulator in the front of the machine do you run it with needle up or down. With needle down I find it hard to get the dang thing to start..move..and when lucky enough it starts the beep by me moving too fast which I understand. I have a FUN QUILTER which I love for panto work but wanting to kick myself into more playing around with free hand. Thanks heaps Dawn in New Zealand.

Where is your studio? Do you offer classes?

We are based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma USA. We currently do not offer classes (other than online videos, check out our KZbin channel). We help customers finish quilts.

Beautiful machine, and in awesome condition! Thanks for posting this--it brings me to some questions for you about the 66 that my son recently got for me from a second hand store. According to the serial number mine was made in 1928, and it has the knob to change the stitch length that you mentioned. I'm guessing mine won't have the tack back feature like yours. Mine is also in a cabinet but didn't have an instruction booklet inside the cabinet door's pocket lol. I have found some booklets online but there are 66 booklets available that have different numbers after 66, like 66-1 for example. I noticed your booklet says 66-16. Would the basic contents be the same in any booklet that starts with 66? Another question about the finish. Yours is gorgeous! Mine has a dull finish, not shiny like yours. Is there a product that you can recommend that I should use to clean mine up with? I wish I wasn't 4 hours away from your location so that I could have you clean/service my machine. I saw on Ann's room tour video that you clean/service machines.

"Don't be afraid to play with your buttons." Love that, and yes I'm afraid lol. Great info in this video but I need to start with the basics of Quilt CAD and Pattern CAD. Do you have beginner videos? I've had QCT Pro for a couple years and just updated to Version 6. I only use the edge to edge feature and would love to learn more. You explain very well.

Using a pin instead of tape for marking zones is a game changer for me! I tried it after watching this video and I can see the pin way easier than the tape from the end of the frame where I advance the quilt. Thank you for the video.
