Bullshit, you clearly have it "out" for Laurel because you pay no attention to the fact that most of your bullshit reasoning is WRONG. She had THE MOST character growth of ANY of the characters of the show yet you claim Thea does? They literally used THE SAME type of "growth" for BOTH CHARACTERS. Both Laurel and Thea gave Oliver a hard time in the beginning, both of them got worse at the same time before they got better, and both of them became vigilantes at THE SAME TIME. Go back and watch the show again, if you legit think that Thea went through MORE in her life than Laurel, who had ZERO support system, before Laurel was killed; then you're just flat-out delusional.

Crackhead Cavill was NO VERSION of Superman, he's effing Bizarro and since you claimed to watch Smallville, perhaps you should go back and review that. Smallville GOT Superman, Man o Shit did not. Man o Shit doesn't even have a personality let alone a sense of humor, plus he SAVES NO ONE but Lois LAME. And this show establishes FIVE YEARS on the island not 10, and 7 and a half for the number of seasons so I don't know where 10 years comes from in your argument. You apparently didn't watch ANY of the stuff you talk about. Laurel HAS FORMAL TRAINING, season 1 episode 3 - she saves Oliver from an ass-whooping from Max Fuller and that's only ONE example. Sara's the one with zero formal training, she doesn't have a clue how to use a bo-staff properly and she gets her ass kicked by LOW-LEVEL paper-pushers from the LOA, which is sad even for this show. Rushed into it me arse, THREE YEARS ain't a rush. And your welcome for the HIGHEST RATINGS during the CANARY ARC (Laurel's) in season 3, they hadn't had those ratings since the premiere FOUR YEARS PRIOR. And SELF-DEFENSE AIN'T BOXING, it's what she already had in season 1. We don't actually know how long she trained with each character, just like you can't become a master fighter with ONE YEAR of fight training on a deserted island (Oliver and Slade). And you do realize that when Laurel becomes Black Canary in the comics, it's to AVENGE HER MOTHER, right? Being a little knit-picky.

Well, fair enough. What I meant was that I felt Andrew Garfield had more to work with than Tobey Maguire. My instincts tell me that Maguire does the best he can with what he's given. The problem is that it's not much. Maguire's Peter Parker is mostly *passive-reactive* at best and *homicidal* at worst, both as himself and as Spiderman. His primary motivation is that he wants Kirsten Dunst to be his girlfriend. *That's about it.* And, if you really think about it, Parker luck or not, it's very Superficial. And besides the fact that it's his last name, at no point in the trilogy does the subject of Peter Parker being a *Parker* ever come up in conversation, like "The Parker men are Responsible" or anything. That's because they weren't writing or directing him as a responsible person. Why is Peter's *Responsibility* as Spiderman important to *Peter?* We know superficially why it's important to the city, but why does matter to him? Why is it *AS* important to Peter as Kirsten Dunst seems to be? Does the guy even *care?* And, the Harry Osborn trilogy pretty much tells us that it doesn't matter whether Peter cares about it or not, because he's being dragged through the narrative, to the point where Spiderman himself is barely even a persona. It's just metahuman Peter Parker in a Spider-man costume. Spiderman isn't really there in the story, but we're repeatedly told in the first two movies that Peter has a Responsibility to *Spiderman,* a metaphysical persona that has no identity *of his own* *in the Raimi trilogy,* without bothering to tell us how Peter feels about it.

Well the PS4 game is quite honesty the best version of Spider-Man seen out side of the comics next spectacular Spider-Man levels of good(the DLC did do something that was off putting and shouldn’t be there to begin with but overall he is still good) if this were the mcu Spider-Man im sure everyone who likes/loves homecoming would see the idiocy within it, I’m sure this game has done that for the fans but not for the general view which is still a problem, still great game not perfect as nothing is, thou it’s sequel is a Guarantee at this point.

@ATalesTruth-
@ATalesTruth- 6 жыл бұрын
Well to just give you a quick summary of the part that was off putting in the DLC is the fact insomniac made the plot for the first one about Peter under the assumption that he “slept” with Black Cat in the past for she clams to have a son which Peter is wondering if it can be his own, the problem with this is that insomniac later confirmed on Twitter that nothing may have happened between the two that it’s just up for fan interpretation for fan service, so if that’s the case why waste a DLC on something so predictable, if you know Felicia you understand were this is going.

Just a question, and be nice, but do you like Sara on 'Legends'?
@cinemagraphic6324
@cinemagraphic6324 6 жыл бұрын
Don't take this the wrong way, but I didn't really understand her in Arrow. And, she makes even less sense in Legends. It often feels like Legends is trying to be funnier than it should be. *(SIDE NOTE: White Canary isn't an identity. It's still Sara Lance. You're not really fooling anyone.)* It's funny how Barry Allen gets cussed out for changing the Timeline, and yet whenever Sara Lance and the Scooby gang do something to mess around with the Timeline, nobody bothers to call them out on it, except for Rip Hunter and Ava Sharpe, and...that rarely goes anywhere. When Ray Palmer, a character who was introduced as part of a love triangle with Green Arrow and Discount Chloe Sullivan, has more common sense than the "White Canary", who was an assassin, you're doing something wrong. So, the answer is...the actor is Okay, but the character? Not so much. Also, I didn't mention this in the video, but for women who are supposed to be Black Canary, if you're in any way whatsoever familiar with Black Canary, it's a little strange that neither Laurel or Sara seem to have a natural metahuman Canary cry, particularly since it's one of the few defining traits associated with Black Canary.
@radicalreactions1633
@radicalreactions1633 2 жыл бұрын
@@cinemagraphic6324 The reason you don't understand Sara is because she's not a character, she's basically a clone of Oliver and Black Widow, a psycho assassin that doesn't care who she hurts and doesn't have real feelings. FFS her backstory's identical to Oliver's which means the writers/producers trying to desperately shove her into a watered-down, cheap Black Canary clone was never going to work. And Sara's not even a "good" assassin, if you get my meaning, she needs to use a stick to snap someone's neck, plus she's been killed off of BOTH SHOWS SEVERAL TIMES so that doesn't prove that she's good at anything very well. You're being nice about the actress, she's trash, she has NO EMOTIONS/her expressions never change. Laurel SHOULD'VE had the sonic scream but the writers don't know how to tell a story and by the 2nd season it started to transition to Guggenheim who hated Laurel's character so that wasn't going to happen under his watch. Thank Christ for the Flash and Earth-2 Laurel. :)

@@robertsavageau112 Well...when you say it like that... First of all, if I remember correctly, that taxi was about to hit Max Dillon. Details can often be distracting. THAT'S why they're important. I'm more surprised that people drive on that road at all, with the amount of car chases that ensue, or MIGHT ensue in that New York! Then again, a simple walk in the park alone is probably asking for trouble! As for telling jokes, isn't Spiderman supposed to be jokey and funny as a defense mechanism?! "Do we really give a f*** about Peter's high school years?" Dude the Spectacular SpiderMan is completely about his high school years.
@cinemagraphic6324
@cinemagraphic6324 6 жыл бұрын
Well, to your point, Spectacular Spider-Man handled the high-school aspect of Peter Parker in a slightly more believable way. Because, it knew when to focus on the Peter Parker side, and when to focus on the Spiderman side. In Homecoming, there's so much emphasis on Peter's high school years that the Spiderman side feels arbitrary, not helped by the fact that Spider-man doesn't feel enough like a different character, aside from Peter. Or, Imagine that you've never heard of Spiderman before this movie. Would you ever guess that a movie called Spiderman was just an hour and a half of Peter Parker at high school, making promises he can't keep? And, I realize that the first Raimi Spiderman was 45 minutes of set-up, and so was The Amazing Spiderman! But, the difference between Amazing Spiderman and both THIS movie and the first Raimi film is that ASM tried to tell a story within the setup; the operative term being "tried!" And, perhaps I should clarify: when I said, "Does anyone care about Peter's high school years, I meant "Does anyone care about Peter's high school years, when it tells us absolutely nothing about him, or doesn't tell us anything new!" My issue was with Peter's school time feeling like mean-spirited padding, not with the fact that he's IN high-school! A little bit of that is fine, but it shouldn't be the ENTIRE movie! The movie IS called Spiderman, after all!

Well, I liked the beginning of Spectre, but the rest of the movie kind of drags in places, and there are parts of the story that feel forced, particularly with Bl===ld and Madeleine Swann! I chose not to see the Ghostbusters remake. The problem with the Ghostbusters remake isn't that it's an All-girl cast (I can't really say that I'm THAT offended by the All-girl Ghostbusters. I barely remember the Original Ghostbusters aside from Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson. Though I couldn't tell you their names). It's that the movie was trying to be just a comedy (while trying to be a remake of something that already existed), and it wasn't particularly funny. If you found it funny, that's fine. I saw the trailers for it, and was immediately put off by it!
