I found out that a file hosting site do something like this DELEBRATELY: Mediafire. On any download page that the uploader chooses a free account and posted something on there, there is a text next to the download button saying "The download button will start your download and show a message from our advertisers in a new window." When I was young, I thought the site was infested with malvertising, opening popup *window or tab* (not a box within a page) to a tech support scam site or flash update scam when downloading a file. Thankfully this can be outsmarted by rightclicking the download button and "save link as..." How the F**k is this accepted!? I don't care if it opens a non-malicious page. Who thought that forcing users and/or their browsers to open a random 3rd party site of any kind just to use the site was a good idea? Don't tell me that ads fund websites. There are plenty of other ways to advertise that are not intrusive as this. That, along with ads that hinder users from using the website (interstitial ads that you have to close them in order to use the page (often full-screen), floating ads that cover text that never goes away, screen border ads, etc) is the reason why adblocking is on the rise. Furaffinity is one of the few sites that do have ads without being intrusive or hindering at all, which is why I have my adblocker turned off. Sites like fandom and various news sites are in the yellow, and "sail the high seas"/p**n/file hosting sites are in the red.

They wont listen almost every single wp website i visit always has directory traversals pointing to wp-content and all residing folders in that folder. See it every single day its crazy.
