I'm not sure if you still read these messages, but i found a postcard/letter you sent to my dad in March 1991 with a photo of you two on the Sunflower. My dad was Angelo (Evangelos) Vayianos, a photo technician among other things, in Limassol, Cyprus. He used to talk about you over the years and would often wonder where you were in the world and if you were still sailing.

It's great, but most cardboard boat competitions don't allow the use of screws and wood.

I actually tried growing giant pumpkins in my backyard in 2019, but it was unsuccessful. I also tried pollinating the female pumpkin flower with the male flower by removing it’s petals and hand pollinating the female flower. It did work, but the entire plant died from the summer heat before the growing pumpkin could become massive that I would have needed a forklift to move the pumpkin. I always love giant pumpkins because of their massive size and weight since I was a kid. However, I still do get those big 100 pound Big Max pumpkins from Marks Melon Patch in Sasser, GA.

This is an excellent video, Beth. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. I've been to Palmyra Atoll by sailboat, but I dream of visiting both the Tuamotus and, especially, the Marquesas.

Good video, shows what these are really like! Good narration, but how much are the 'side trips', and does the boat EVER go to a Port, or is it Always anchored and folks trammed to shore? Great BOWSPRIT shot w/Al, too! Looking at trying this. Have you been on the larger Royal Clipper ever?

If I was going to go on a cruise at all, I would actually prefer one of these to the bigger tier cake cruise ships. You get a glimpse to see a bit of what it was like on a ship with sails etc. Also another thing I like is that you get to see the Captain & crew as people & not just "staff" you can get to talk & have a laugh with them. This is definitely the kind of cruise for people who want to mix with others. 👍🤗❤️
