Wait, I am confused. Don't you have the set the alpha or p value first and then test? Isn't the other way around this so-called "p-hacking"?

and what about when we have a vector of the expected values (and these values are not simply the total number divided by the number of variable that we have)?

Hi, Thank you for your informative lesson. Can you share the slides so I will be able to follow up with you better during the lessons

I can't tell if this is a network glitch but the audio skips an awful lot so I have resorted to only reading the slides - I can't follow the audio at all!

Thanks for the video. A comment: your example is unusual, in that it is only a single row, versus the more common example of a 2x2 table. That's great--consider changing the title of the video to reflect this unique aspect of the example! I looked all over for such an example a couple of years ago without finding one--surely I'm not the only person who has had that experience...

Great video but I hate the way you speak. It sounds either very condescending or a very bad violin.

Thank you for your helpful video. I do believe you had a slight error in your Alternative Hypothesis - the alternative to p1=p2=p3=p4=p5 is at least ONE pk != pj.

I noticed that to I think you are correct the alternative hypothesis would be at least one of those are different.
