@ indeed I do, stay tuned. 60 mm crank. Malossi cylinder. And some other stuff. But I will stick with an upgraded original carb 24/24 and no expansion exhaust. No porting at this stage. Not going for maximum power, it’s more important that I still can use the separate oil pump.

Also going to do this as I can’t add throttle at all and it just cuts out sometimes , I have a 177 Pinasco kit fitted with the standard fuel tap at the moment

That is not setup right , it needs a sip road 2 on it as your scooter should rev out in 4th with a 24mm carb . Mine hits 65 mph on a GPS with standard gearing and I run out of gearing . Polini big box exhaust on a DR177 will make it run bad like your video , sip road 2 and it will be quick

I enjoy your videos which are very informative and helpful. However, I would suggest extreme caution if using a hammer to split the casings! They are quite brittle and easily broken. A rubber faced mallet is much the safer option!👍

Hi and greetings from Denmark 😊 Nice video of splitting the engine 👍🏻 I did the same with my VNB 125cc from 64 this Xmas. My engine was in a pretty good condition so I went for the full restoration including the same gearing that you did . The engine is now put together and everything went well 👍🏻 Next step is mounting the new SIP 125cc alu racing cylinder 😊 Best regards 🙏🏻

Are there any known tolerances to this ? My crankshaft is sitting 1mm more to the clutch side. Do you think I have to pull the crank to adjust it? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

@@Icantgetausernamedoh that’s nothing I heard about before. On the px engine you should not putt the needle bearing all the way in against the crank on the flywheel side. I think it should be 0.5 mm space.

But on this old VNB lageframe engine it’s normal to put the bearings on the crankshaft first and then put the crankshaft with bearings into the engine casing when putting them together. Apparently it’s normal that there is some free roam to both sides that needs to be adjusted before putting the cylinder on. But I can’t find anything on this anywhere. That’s why I asked if you did know something about it 😊 Thanks for your answer 🙏🏻

@@kristijanjukic3556 I think the combination with new absorbers and aluminium rims with tubeless tyres made a positive difference on the bikes handling. But I didn’t buy the most expensive absorbers so I guess there is even better handling to buy.

What size festoon bulbs did you use for this build? On SIP I found 12V 5W and 12V 10W bulbs, but the problem is that 5W bulb is 11x38mm and 10W bulb is 11x44mm bulb. Which size is correct for this adapter so I know which size to buy? Thanks in advance.

You made it look easy! I have started to strip a 1962 Sportique engine today; I have removed the 12 nuts and bolts, but I cannot split the engine. I have tried applying heat from a hot air gun around the main shaft bearing, and tapping the cases with a rubber hammer, but nothing is moving. Do you have any other ideas?

@@fromaggiovagiola9128 Haven’t been able to test my self because I don’t own a GTV, but try this: 1) With the right handlebar kill switch in to off position. 2) Go to the range screen (not trip or total miles). 3) Bring up the voltage display. 4) Turn off the main ignition. 5) Hold the trip reset mode button (The lower one by the seat lock) 6) Turn on the main ignition without letting go of the lower mode button. 7) After a few seconds you get a message (coupon resetting) in the lower screen and the wrench starts blinking. Don't let go until the wrench disappears.
Couple days ago, I picked up a 1980 P200E. As a youth in the 60's I had a Vespa... and a few years ago had a Stella.... all two wheeled fun... Yours can be easily repaired... perhaps invest in crash bars or at least passenger foot bar.. which may help in the event of another off road " adventure " 😎

@ tyvärr har jag sålt den hojen. Men det behövs inga specialverktyg, en hylsnyckelsats med torx räcker. Det är ett oljefilter som skall bytas och två olje-silar som skall rengöras. Den ena silen är lite lurig att komma åt då den sitter lite i framkant av motorn bakom grenröret. Bra att veta: Oljenivån skall kontrolleras när motorn nått driftstemperatur.
