Was born in Ajo. Moved to Phoenix after the copper mine closed. I’d love to return someday. Maybe after I pay off my house I’ll buy a home in Ajo. Some good memories there.

I spent three years in Ajo stationed at a small radar site outside town in 1965. I miss the town, but now it seems to be a hiway for drug smugglers and illegals.
