El Requiem es una de las obras en las que todos los músicos se la pasan bien porque el nivel de protagonismo de cada instrumento está perfectamente equilibrado y no deja de fuera a ninguno. Mozart era un genio innegable

A tip: put your valves down earlier. You wait almost to the point of articulation to put your valves down, that’s too late.

That's a segmented approach (AKA wrong).

@TubaTones9 ай бұрын
@@yishihara55527so you think because you saw one video I posted on this channel that you’ve made some sort of “gotcha” moment? You’re a fool. And completely wrong. You haven’t even given a reason for why you think I’m wrong, but I’ll give you some reasons for why I am right: Every time he breathes, even if he is playing the same note after the breath, he lifts the valves, changing the air pressure in the tuba ever so slightly, this can add time to the articulation and production of the sound. He is also playing later than the bass trombone on many notes, the reason being is that every note he plays, he is resetting completely, again, adding time to the overall production of each note. A simple fix would be for this player to think more musically and phrase more with his fingers instead of just playing every note. Even when playing the F natural minor line with the trombone section you can also observe that he hasn’t figured out where to breathe, hence why he breathes before the last F and coming a little late, AGAIN, adding more time to the production of the note. The fact is, if you are pressing valves down while starting a note, your fingers are late. There are minor air pressure changes in the instrument when you do that, and the earlier you can prepare for those changes, the better the articulation and sound production will be, it gives you the best chance to not only be in time but also to start every note with a fantastic sound.
